Built my first computer
EVGA Z370 Classified K
EVGA CLC 240 Cooler
EVGA GTX 1080 Ti
Intel i7-8700k

Fans placement
CLC240 Cooler in front as inlet. 2x 120mm Fans
Case Fans 2 x 120mm on top as exhaust
Case Fans 1 x 120mm on back as exhaust
GPU Temp is around 50ish at the moment of this snapshot

Surprisingly PWM/SYS are way more than CPU temp
1. Is Liquid cooler way too much effective?
2. Should i add another inlet fan in front? As i've noticed due to lower cpu temp, inlet liquid cooler fans do not run at max speed
Suggestions?

Hello Whitherward and welcome to the forums!

The SYS temperature would be the operating temperature of the motherboard which is perfectly fine, the CPU cooler that you own is likely not overkill and that is a perfectly reasonable temperature for a liquid cooler.

You likely do not need an additional fan in your chassis with those temperatures. If your fans are not running at maximum speed that would be a good thing and will result in a quiet build.

And as far as I can tell you have a good system on your hands!

This seems very reasonable on idle. Leave it under stress for 20-40 minutes and upload a new screenshot, that may reveal some other problems. But it's likely more than fine! :)

    Thanks

Couple of folks have pmed me as well. Unable to reply them (needs 10+ posts on forum)
Suggestion 1: Extra 60mm fan on heatsink. Not sure how to do that. Will be looking into that this weekend
Suggestion 2: More inlet fans . Will test one more inlet fan over weekend and post results

@JonSlow12125757 : Yes, these were a minute after an hour of gaming. I tested some more. Looks like my CPU also hits 50s and cools down quickly in 2-3 minutes, but SYS remains at 50 for like 20-30 minutes.
