Would it be possible to get a thread locked on the page with the directions for a clean driver install?  Where to get things like DDU, using safe mode, and not installing GeForce, etc?

People are constantly having to explain how to do this for issues throughout numerous threads.  It is a basic troubleshooting step that would alleviate many problems up front or at least have allowed folks to do it before posting about their issue.  This would be nice for people to either simply see it up front or allow responders to quickly and easily link to it or reference it.

"Did you try the Clean Driver Install instructions at the top of this forum already?"

I'm tired of finding links to Sajin having already posted all of it repeatedly, and I always worry that I will forget a step or link as well if I just type it in.  Sajin probably has a cut and paste file on his desktop, but there shouldn't be a need for everyone to keep it...

Well, it's definitely a lot of explaining each time and whenever I reccomend it I always have to track down the driver that Sajin originally recommended.

Let's let Sajin do the honors?

EDIT: Whoever does it please include a separate part for using DDU on a laptop for the AW Graphics Amplifier as that's a issue with EVGA cards I see. Remember that they probably have to install the Intel display drivers and the AW custom drivers for the Graphics Amp.

Also, debug mode already has a guide here if you ever need to reference it: https://www.evga.com/supp...ewfaq.aspx?faqid=59594

I would personally be good with Sajin doing it if he was good with it.

Clean boot and debug are all are great, too, as mentioned by GTX.  You could add those as he constantly answers or we refer to his posts. I would just recommend that you limit it to these handful of things and even lock the thread from comments.  It needs to stay clean and simple to use by members and only allowing Sajin (or whomever) to change the OP would be the best way to do that.

Perfect example!  It exists (as does all of this), but you have to know where to find it or link out to it.  Simply put it at the top of the forum and there it is!

That's my $.02, anyway.

Thanks for point out the FAQ.

Many new posts for help, seem to be from people that haven't checked the FAQs.

It is easy to forget to chose a subject other than the default search and you get an incomplete search of the FAQs.

Searches In: " --All Topics ---" does not seem to always give good results and misses FAQ that are listed under a different search.

Now, I'll just book mark that puppy.

Bet we will still need to point the newbies to it.

Hopefully it will be much easier. I did not lock the thread, as it may be something of conversation where users will eventually post helpful posts on there as well if they experience any difficulties.

Fair enough.  I just didn't want it to get convoluted, but your point is valid.  You can always clean it up and lock it later if it becomes necessary.

Thank you Sajin and Scarlet.
