Of course an US company can ship its products faster to US customers. 
EVGA has most of its customer base in the US.
 
That's not preferential treatment, that's just physics and economies of scale. 
 
EVGA is a business and their goal is to make money. If they offer the step-up program, it is because it improves their income (more people buy from them because of it) and makes their customer base happy at the same time (yay I can step-up without losing value!)
It works because EVGA is a (relatively) small company, with a (relatively) small customer base.
 
The day the step-up has negative revenue (if e.g. people use it to paint a bad picture of the company), they will simply stop doing it. 
You will then be able to enjoy your devalued cards every release cycle, congrats! Or buy from ASUS, MSI, or whatever, which have horrendous after-sales support.
Or better, enter in an eternal waiting cycle because, as always, the next card is only in a few months...
 
I can understand you want your new card like we all do. But complaining that "US customers have it better" won't get you your card faster in any way.
That's how tech works, EU always receives the products last.
There's just so much more companies need to do to ship their cards to EU customers... EVGA can not bend any import/export laws.

The EVGA 1080 Ti FE is being sold in Europe from day one. Why is not STEP the same? 
 
Anyway. As I said before, let's continue with the reason for the thread and the updates of cleintes and states ...

Erm what? Could you rephrase this?
 
I think we all need to calm down. EVGA didn't promise us anything in regards to delivery time. Now I know I havn't been waiting as long as some of you guys have, but as excited as we all are about this we just have to be patient.
 
If any EVGA rep is reading this I really think it would put people's mind at ease if you just communicated why it is taking longer for the european step-up's.
 
I think something along the lines of "Shipped from CA yesterday, expect delivery in 4-5 weeks" would help people understand :)

There are a big problem and this situation isn't normally:
 
1. EUROPEANs are been blocked in STATE QUEUE:PENDING from 20 days ago without any pronounce from EVGA
2. Later customers from March 12th received 1080Ti FE in house...

Hello fellow Citizens of the trashcan, sorry I mean Europe. Whilest I do understand that Europe may be delayed due to whatever reasons, that being shipping to vendors first or simply insufficient stock, I find that EVGA has a responsebillity to atleast inform us as customers of what we are up against. Are we looking at weeks? Months?
Now I can already hear people screaming "Evga doesnt know so they don't say anything" But that is redicilous, the company knows exactly how many GPU's they will receive from Nvidia, how many chips will be used for production of custom cards and how many of these products are ment for retail and RMA/Step-up. If customer support is unable to tell us this information, than I fear that they either did not ask the right person, or there are issues with communication. 
 
Tl;dr: Give EU customers a heads up so we know what we are up to, we (Well atleast I) don't mind to wait but it is frustrating to see US/CA customers be all happy about their cards and show off their setups after they managed to step-up one, sometimes even two cards whilest we're just like "I guess I will remain pending for the next three months"

Maybe we'll receive it when Volta comes...

Please understand, with a product launch, the demand is so much bigger than the actual availability and with offering this unique StepUp Service also lots of customer like to apply for it. 
 
Please also note, that we already started to fulfill and proceed StepUps with the 1080 Ti FE. (same week as the US started)
 
I cant give you an exact date, when your StepUp will be proceed, but what i can say is, that the availability is getting better and most of the StepUps will be fulfilled in April.

That says that in April will be fulfilled most of steps me comforted a little more.
I really hope that this will happen, because I was one of the first to request it the same day of departure, otherwise we would be in front of a rather serious problem.

We understand that EVGA have a lot of work in every release of GPUs, is normal, the problem that we see in forums is that every EU member is in same situation. So, outside of forum is diferente. All member or customer don't write or read EVGA forums.
 
We believe that EVGA is aware of the problem and will certainly try to correct it.

Today I read in other post, US members with the step up started on March 18 already have their 1080Ti in house... 8 days later.

Thank you for your quick reply. Atleast we have some kind of estimation now. I sure hope that these step-ups will get going soon in the EU, as it seems that US customers that have stepped up get from start to finish within 7 days of the moment they stepped up. #Sigh

Upload Invoice Step 2 = 04/04/2017 16:23 CET ( Brought from EVGA, anyway i uploaded when i registered the card. )
Submit Payment Step 3 = Pending
Ship original GPU to EVGA Step 4 = Pending
Stepped up GPU shipped to end user Step 5 = Pending

Just reached step 3, but have a VAT issue on the payment amount... :-)
I filed a support ticket so my step-up is probably going to be delayed a bit.
