No idea until Nvidia makes a formal announcement. It's not up to EVGA if it's supported or not, it's up to Nvidia. They did mention they want it to be platform agnostic but again, until Nvidia actually says something no one really knows.

It's not up to NVIDIA. Since I can install a Radeon 6000 series GPU on a Z300 chipset, it is up to motherboards' manufacturers.

Hi all! I would encourage all of you to consider signing the petition that calls on Intel (as well as all motherboard manufacturers) to release a bios that would enable Smart Access Memory (resize bar) on all Intel 300 series motherboard.

In addition to signing the petition, it would be great if you also assisted in spreading the word!

What about X99 boards, and z170 and back? It seems fair to request on all boards that support it.

You don’t have enough posts to attach links at this time.

Not opposed to it, but I believe the argument is that it is still a product line that is readily available and sold in most computer store.

Intel does not care, nor does evga.

Why would they enable a 'feature' on an older series?

It is a selling point to encourage people to 'upgrade' to a newer product, i.e. more sales = more profit.

This is currently in the works.

No ETA, as testing is ongoing, but we have a working test BIOS for Above 4G Decoding currently (this would not enable Resizable BAR support on its own, in case you were wondering).

Hi everyone, just thought I would share that MSI has recently decided to enable resize bar for their z390 motherboards:

I would strongly recommend that anyone who hasn’t already signed the petition do so now. If you already signed it, please share it! This may help encourage all other motherboard manufacturers to follow suite.
    Link to the petition:

Yes, well, then give us the beta \ alpha version, I will gladly test it on my z370 classified k, I am not afraid that my bios will deteriorate I have 2 of them and still have a backup.
most likely, you don't have anything, since you abandoned development for the 300 series boards

Hmm, not sure that last part is correct. EVGA keeps boards to be able to do RMA’s, so they probably have at least 1. And.. abandoned.. lol.

MSI added Re-size BAR function to their older Z390 motherboard. Doesn't seem to matter what Intel or Nvidia wants. It's up to the motherboard manufacturer to keep supporting their customers long after the sale.

What are you yapping on about? I said MSI is offering Re-size BAR function to their older Z390 motherboard. EVGA as of this post EVGA is not offering Re-size BAR function to their older Z390 motherboard.

EVGA just updated the x299 bios’ to have resizable bar. Considering they are a small company compared to MSI, maybe be a tiny bit patient and give them time to get to this if they can. It’s been sort of a busy time with manning lowered as well as numerous launches happening.

here is my 6-month communication with the moderator and developers gave 0 fruits. it is too difficult for them, to upgrade the board and transfer the settings from the Z390, and the z370 and z390 differ only in wfif and pci lines, I do not see too difficult a task. but they decided to throw it to me in the mail and say that we are not and the fool himself had to buy our board z390 dark

This is from an X299 DARK, but it should look the same on all our boards that have Resizable BAR support.

And maybe even give a manual change to the RTL-IOL memory table, it would be wonderful, this will not be difficult for developers, it is in the bios codes you need to give permission to edit and display it in the bios

    Thank You EVGA!

Now the question is whether the RTX 3080's will be widely available before I find a compelling reason to upgrade CPU platforms...

So I'm on a Z370 Classified and it's great that we're seeing this boards add support but Nvidia is saying 10/11th gen CPUs only?  Do they just mean "so far" or is adding to the 300 series boards pointless now?

Really? I missed that... Tbh I haven't even looked at what this adjustable BAR is yet. One of the things I planned to research over the next few days. All I know is that its a 30 series thing and my z390 dark now supports it, at least in the BIOS.

Maybe they can only guarantee that 490/590 support it, and 370/390 is up to vendors? Or is it something that really only matters for PCIe 4.0? In which case, we wouldn't see any noticable difference.

    https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/geforce-rtx-30-series-resizable-bar-support/

So I looked it up. According to their website, as of Feb 25, 2021, only intel 10th and 11th gen cpu's support it, like maverick said. I'm guessing the cpu, chipset, AND card have to support it for it to be functional? Would need evga's input on this to know if enabling it on z3xx boards would, in fact, be able to take advantage of it in any way. I could see it being a big benefit for my VR gaming
