Hey guys , i wanted to know if disassembling my 1080Ti to replace TIM would void warranty , i heard that EVGA tolerate it but just want to be sure before i go an unscrew everything !

Also , what temp do you get with your stock 1080Ti SC2 in general ?

Yup, warranty coverage remains if you change out the TIM. Good luck, didn't make a difference for me with my 2080.

As long as you do not do any physical damage to the GPU,  you're good to go.  Even changing the cooler is covered as long as you return the GPU to its stock configuration prior to an RMA.
In general temps are hard to say... In general folks usually get between 70 and 80C under load...but a lot of factors influence that.

I know a lot of factors influence result , but i'm just being curious . I switched my case for a Thermaltake Core P3 and there's no case ventilation so i saw my temp rise on idling GPU on stock fan curve which made me concern ... it was idling at aroung 50C :/ I changed fan curve to 40% and now it idle at 32C

That's normal, fella. The fans don't kick in until around 60c anyway. I'd much rather have the fans on in most circumstances. It's just personal preference, I guess.

Hello CaptainXCrunch,

No replacing TIM would not affect the warranty what so ever. Now just make sure that you are being very careful and that the product psychically damaged in any way and is able to put back into its factory condition you will be fine.
