Seriously though, I did end up making it through to the end and got my confirmation. Had to try multiple payment options though... I requested too many 3 factor codes from my bank without ever making a purchase, so they shut my card off.  Then I tried Paypal and it just wouldn't authenticate with your servers... So I went to the Affirm route, and that finally ended up going through. Thanks for the elite access, the awesome but stressful race against time feeling, and of course for making the card available in the first place. I appreciate you guys, EVGA.

I thought about Affirm but have my credit locked thanks to getting my credit information plundered from the US government. Would have had to unlock everything to use that option.

Much more likely that the level of load for Affirm payment servers wasn't nearly that of the more common options.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what happened.
It was the entire site crashing over and over again. I kinda just used the payment iron as a last resort, and it just headpiece to go through.
