Hi guys. Ive had my rtx3080 for a while now and as of a few moths ago I cant get my 4th monitor to display. I can see all 4 monitors in the display settings but the monitor acts like it isn't getting any signal. Ive tried my work laptop on the monitor and it works. Any ideas how I could troubleshoot this?

Troubleshooting already done;
Updated Drivers - No change
Switched the input to a different port on the GPU - the other three monitors still work but the 4th does not
Connected less monitors - no change to that monitor
Used the monitor on a different PC (same HDMI port) - monitor works
Power cycled the monitor- No change
Reset any overclock- No change

Specs
CPU: Intel 10850K
RAM: 32gb (4 x 8GB) Corsair Dominator
PSU: Seasonic 750w
MOBO: NZXT Z490
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken Z73

Monitors
Main: LG 34GN850 (3440 x 1440 at 160hz)
Monitor 2: LG Ultrawide (2560 x 1080 at 75hz)
Monitor 3: Samsung C27F390 (1920 x 1080 at 60hz)
Monitor 4: Samsung C27F390 (1920 x 1080 at 60hz) (Recognized in Display settings and NVIDIA Control Panel - no signal)

So you did checkout the setup multiple displays menu inside the nvidia control panel?

I'm having this same issue currently.  I can enable ANY 3 of the 4 monitors plugged into the card but I cannot enable the 4th.   When doing so with the Windows display panel, extending the desktop to the 4th does nothing, it just goes immediately back to the disconnected state.

When enabling the 4th with the Nvidia control panel, it will enable the 4th screen but will then, at seemingly random, disable one of the other three screens that were already enabled.

@ralgo, did you ever figure this issue out?   Tech support isn't responding to my issue.

Swap out the cables and see if the failure stays on the port.

Usually one of the Display Ports shares connection with the HDMI port on a video card.

I believe this is still the case with Ampere cards.

You may have already tried this however, ensure the GPU is seated correctly (uninstall & reinstall). Ensure the DP & HDMI are seated correctly, if they are shut down the computer and move it down a PCI-E slot.... I had this same issue and when i moved slots everything worked. I haven't investigated the issue because i've got too much other pressing matters, hope you figure out the problem.

I never figured it out. I just stop using the 4th monitor. I'll try re-seating the card or changing the slot and let you know

I had the same issue. Turns out it's an limitation with DSC (Display Stream Compression) technology on on Nvidia GPUs.

I got around this by enabling integrated graphics through the BIOS on my Asus board and connecting the 4th monitor directly to the mother board. Not a solution but a work around. My 4th monitor is just a 600x800 monitor mounted inside my case to display hardware info so it works for me. I can now run DP v1.4 on my primary Samsung Odyssey G7 to get 4k at 144hz with 4 monitors.

    Hope this helps.
