I changed my GPU from an RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA to an RTX 3070 FTW3.
While using my old XC3, the precision software worked fine. I could do whatever I wanted to.
As soon as I replaced my XC3 with an FTW3 the software quit working and kept telling me "a system restart is needed to install the correct firmware update. Please reboot before proceeding" every time I tried to open the software, so I uninstalled it (and this was version 1.1.9.0). Nothing changes, it doesn't work, it only forces my system to restart.
I've also uninstalled all of my drivers, unplugged the GPU, unplugged the PSU, but recently I tried downloading a different version of precision (version 1.1.0.9 for 30 series only). This version works, however, it doesn't work too well because the RGB controls are broken.
I do want to point out that the card performs as expected. I never used precision for controlling fans or overclocking, I've always used afterburner to do it and that still works.
Not sure what to do, this is incredibly frustrating. I just want my RGBBBBBBBBBBBBBB ;-;
EDIT: apparently I can't put a link to my 50 second video showing the problem for whatever reason.... Put https:// in front of this youtu .be /nNzlrjzsn7M
