Hot!RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 ultra hybrid gamming. new bios? heat pads?

hi all,
so where can i get a (?)new bios for my old but still working 2080?
 
the current bios is 90.02.17.00.D2
 
there are times i get a ramadom pixile error. it crashes the game i am playing. make me think i need new thermal pads on this old card.
do i need the puddie  or can i just go with pads and or past?
 
old gray hair tech need help

    You don’t need a new bios. Just put some new thermal paste on the gpu die, and reuse the old pads unless they’re in really poor condition.

    Once you've done this step monitor your GPU temps.
