Hey,

I just ordered the Hydro Copper waterblock for the 2080 Ti FTW3 and just got it in the mail now!!!

I was wondering if anyone else was running the 2080 Ti FTW3 on water yet? I haven't seen any reviews online with this exact setup yet.

I'm looking for some GPU temperatures/frequencies to reference to see how mine compares to others. I'll be adding mine in after I integrate the card into my loop.

So far, on air and stock settings I'm boosting to 1950 MHz with max temp around 70 C.

What are your temps/frequencies on water?

I'm running EVGA's Hydro Copper on my 2080 Ti FTW3 and am very happy. The loop utilizes push/pull configurations and has radiators dedicated to both the GPU and CPU. At idle, temps sit around 20-23 Celsius. At load, benchmarking for example, temps have hit the mid 30's.  All of this is currently at stock, as I've been having issues with X1 (may go back to Afterburner). To this point, fan noise has not been an issue with my system.

If the Hydro Copper quality is similar to the Hybrid, I think it will work well.

Thanks for the reply , those temperatures look very impressive. Just out of curiosity, does your card boost higher than 1950 MHz with the water block on at stock settings?

I should edit/clarify my original post. I ordered the hydro copper full block too. But am just interested in the numbers for the hybrid or full block. I anticipate both will perform similar.

In synthetic and in game benchmarks I haven't seen speeds higher than the stock 1950 MHz.  I have noticed that despite this, with the driver version .1722, an average of just over a 3% increase in synthetic scores (going from a 23021 to a 23722 in Firestrike for example).

I should also note that though the default settings in X1 are 100% on power, it the card never draws above 75%.  Again, all of this is at stock.

*** EDIT:  The card turned me into a liar, I finally saw power draw of 85+ %.  Interestingly enough, I noticed this after updating drivers, though X1 is still giving me fits

Nice. What kind of pump, etc do you use? I bought the Hybrid Cooler and disappointed as it has an annoying buzzing noise.

Im using a Monsoon res with Alphacool VPP655.   Runs  pump/res, EK waterblock on the 5930k, rad, 2080 TI with Hydro Copper waterblock, rad, the back to reservoir.  Everything is setup in a push/push config with Alphacool radiators and Noctua 2000rpm PWM fans (setup using fan controllers, which has become a separate issue now). I've got the old Corsair 900D, so there was plenty of room to work with and set things up how I wanted.

I wanted to go with EK again like I did with my 980's since those were fantastic blocks, but there was (is) nothing out yet that is listed as compatible with the 2080 Ti FTW 3. Or, at least, not at the time I purchased the Hydro Copper.

**Note: Updated drives increased sythetic benchmark score another 3.4 percent.  So, just with newer drivers benchmarking has improved 6.4% since 1634

Mine runs dead stable at 2085-2145 core and +1000 Memory max power/max voltage.  The max temp after most gaming or benchmarking sessions is under 50c...usually 47c.  I'm very happy.

I've started playing around with the OC.  I got to about 2085 as well with about 700 added to the mem, above that things got unstable. A +145 to the core worked, but 150 always failed (so far) during synthetic tests. Temps got to around 38-40 C (current room temp being around 24C).  Haven't pushed it higher yet or tried further tweaking.
