dwexpress Cummon, covert 70 degrees room temp to C and figure it out, if the coolant moves fast enough and has plenty of heat dispersment you should be able to keep a liquid cooled system at room temp, also me living in Illinois where the temps can get plenty cool if I leave the furnace off at night it can be 60F in my computer room where I do my testing.
Where did you say you have enough rad for two GPUs at a room ambient temp of 70F/21c? I never saw any of that and this is a thread 4 pages long so I'm not going through all of that plus this isn't your personal thread with easy access to this information if you did post about it. Regardless, you never answered my question and I'm not buying it.

The reason why I asked was because the way your system is setup/designed would be something similarly done back in those days because many used high FPI rads (which yours aren't) with screaming 3K as rad fans to help push through those rads. A lot of times they only used single 120mm rads to cool per chip. Heck, sometimes they used scrapped up automobile and or bike rads as the heat exchanger. That's what I was getting at. I still think your proclaimed 36c temps on a single 140mm cooling two TitanXps is most likely when they're idle. ![](https://forums.evga.com/upfiles/smiley/s4.gif) If they were both loaded up to the max, your GPU's loop would be too saturated to do anything and I bet your GPUs would just throttle themselves.

If i was idling them at 36C and still got that high in the futuremark hof time spy extreme they were the best 2 titan xp's in the world. I have nothing to prove, i know my stats and i know what i accomplished. The 3000 rpm noctua fans are very quiet fans and very efficient, try a couple and find out for yourself. I suppose now your gonna tell me i'm idling my 2 2080ti ftw3's and got to spot 26 with them on the time spy extreme. Even they are running 58C at +700 memory and +110 clock on air, so how cool do you think i will get them on water? Facts are facts, if you have trouble keeping yours that cool doesn't mean i'm not telling the truth about what i'm doing.

dwexpress Here is what a 140MM monsta radiator looks like externally installed by thinking outside the norms and using 3000 rpm fans, 1 push and 1 pull fan. We all know, think outside the box and experiment, be creative, get your own results.
Been doing this stuff for a long time. I wasn't trying to take a stab at you but with your short take it or leave it remarks prior, you weren't giving us enough information and expected it us to take it as is. In my experience and many others, a single rad doesn't necessarily give those kind of temps in most applications and will only result in a very saturated loop. Here you have two GPUs that can produce high loads. Show us a video of those GPUs both at full load with a water temp probe and the GPUs temps via X1 or GPUz. I'm more fascinated that they are that low with that much rad is my point. Anyhoo, I'm not here to argue with you but again, I just like more info.

I can't now, sold the Titan xp's to buy my 2080ti ftw3's but I'm planning on getting them set up the same way, of course I have 1 of them being rma'd already because of the px1 flash screw up, now I have 2 hydro copper blocks for them but not sure if I'm going to use them or wait for the blocks from ek. Always something.

From what I read. EKWB ti ftw 3 blocks will not be out till 2019. It could change of course, but that was the last thing I read before buying the hydrocopper.

Yeah i know, i hate to put on the hydro copper blocks and then remove them when the ek is released but the ek-fc terminal and link is so much better at coolant flow with multiple gpu's. I guess i'll wait till i get my other 2080ti ftw3 from the rma then decide what to do.

I see this and ask myself - Why? Watercooling should have the purpose to keep the temperatures on the Hardware low and should be quiet as well, and the fans should spin in correlation with the water temperature. This may keep the temperatures low but the noise levels must be disgusting.

You people need to try these noctua 3000 PWM fans, instead of critize without using or hearing one of them, get the surprise of your life with these fans, and then you need to think the only time the fans need to be maxed out is when doing heavy benchmarks and testing, no wonder pople can't get as good of benchmarks as others, sensitive ears.

Soaringswine what are y'alls memory temps? I'm running my 2080 ti FTW3 and a GTX 1080 FTW (there's not much room between them hence these insanely high temps) with my 2080 ti fans on 100% through hashcat and I hit 90c GPU temp (and throttles) but my memory temps hit 102c.. which makes me a bit worried. oh and whoever asked about a fan curve: I've always just set 40c to 0% fan and 70c to 100% fan and it works fine for me.
Wait, what's the benefit out running the 1080 also Would it be beneficial to me to slap in my old 980ti?

He's mining, so you can benefit from mining by slapping in whatever cards you have into a system.

The maximum clock speed was 2115MHz on that run. I've just improved my Timespy score slightly with +145 core but the clock speed only reached 2100MHz during the test. It sometimes goes higher around 2145MHz. Timespy 14,577 GPU 16,196 CPU 9,306

My old one was finicky like that Sometimes it'd be 2145 sometimes 2160 It's the new GPU boost setup. My new one only goes up to 2070 so I haven't even bothered benchmarking it because I know it won't get close to my old card lol

I'm at a 15000 graphics score in Timespy Extreme and can't seem to get any higher. Granted I am running 8x/8x since it is a 9900k, and there is always the lottery, but I am wondering if I am missing something. Currently +130 is stable, for single runs (if the house is cool) I can push +150, and memory is +1050. I see people able to push a pair of these to almost 16000, and when I look at their OC clock/memory speeds, they don't seem to be much higher, and sometimes lower. Any tricks?
