Okay, I'm finally getting some stable numbers.  After raising my power level to 126%, setting my fans to 100%, increase the memory +500, and the GPU +130.  I'm able to get 60 FPS on Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and a Time Spy Extreme score of 6996 on the Graphics sub test.  Rise of the Tomb Raider give me an overall score of 75.52 FPS (Very High Settings, SMAA).  One of the greatest things I did was turn VSync off.  Once that happened my framerates went up by at least 6 or 7.

Here's my runs (Given I have a 6700K vs your 8700K) I think I held up well... I used the same OC's You did I think a 8700K or 9900K would of got me above you maybe, not sure though..

And here is one with 850 Mem and 125 on the Clock

The I can't seem to push it any higher than 850 mem / 125 on the clock. i had 1000 mem and 150 clock, but crashed the 3dmark quickly. 140 on the gpu though it lasted 30 seconds in or so maybe.

You definitely beat me on the 850/125 run (graphic score wise).  I'm afraid at this point to push mine any farther because of my temps.  Right now the GPU is staying around 63, however, my memory is getting up there (80 degrees).  I know that's in spec, but for now I'm happy getting the 60 FPS on the Shadow of the Tomb Raider (The game I'm playing now) without raising the temps more.  I've just taken advantage of the EVGA PSU promotion and ordered the 1600 T2.  It's overkill, but I couldn't pass up a $350.00 savings.  I'm running an 850 now, so the extra power should help too.

My next task is to see if I can get my CPU to perform better.

Are you using the MSI lock feature or something? How do you guys dial in the exact mhz. I get in the general area of what i aim for.
You think i'd probably get closer to you if i was on a 9900K and 32GB of ram @ 3200?. I don't seem too far atm.

I have a 280mm AIO (H115i) on it and it is delided.  It is going under real water as soon I can get a block for the FTW3

I am just using PX1.  The crazy part is that my card only takes +70MHz it hit 2100/2085.  All those runs were just +70/+1100

I just bought the Corsair H150i Pro 360 with the 8700k.  I won't be deliding anytime soon, but once the warranty gets a little older, I'll go that route too.  I've heard good things.

Are we offered the promotion if we already bought a 2080ti? I bought mine before the promotion began. / My card sits at 63C for the gpu and the memory hasn't gone anymore than 10c above the gpu so far in all my testing. Maybe i'm doing something wrong haha. (I'm in a Evolv X tower, but still building the rig, so air flow ain't the most amazing atm) I think the numbers i'm getting are ok... I think ill get much better numbers with a 9900K and 32GB of 3200mhz ram. so basically my final build should be much better then it is now.. you would hope right lol.

Here is an initial testing with a few tweeks on my dual RTX 2080ti FTW3's. This is just +15 on memory and +115 on clock. 124% Power Limit and all Fan's at 100%  Stayed about 60 celcius. This got me to spot #21 in Hall of Fame so far.

What's the graphics score on that run? I tried to look at the picture you attached but I can't read the graphics score, too few pixels.

what are y'alls memory temps? I'm running my 2080 ti FTW3 and a GTX 1080 FTW (there's not much room between them hence these insanely high temps) with my 2080 ti fans on 100% through hashcat and I hit 90c GPU temp (and throttles) but my memory temps hit 102c.. which makes me a bit worried.

oh and whoever asked about a fan curve: I've always just set 40c to 0% fan and 70c to 100% fan and it works fine for me.

102 C on the memory! Man, that's going to kill that memory. I'd definitely do something, anything, to get those temps down.

Yeah I would really bring those memory temps down.  Probably not your best bet if the GPUs are sandwiched together.  Will have to pick one or the other for your build unless you can find more space between them and maybe rearrange some air flow towards them.  Opening the side panel of the case should alleviate some of those high temps.

Is it normal for PX1 Scans to completely lock up my rug, forcing me to reset it?
How do you successfully scan?

102 C on the memory! Man, that's going to kill that memory. I'd definitely do something, anything, to get those temps down.

GTXJackBauer
Yeah I would really bring those memory temps down.  Probably not your best bet if the GPUs are sandwiched together.  Will have to pick one or the other for your build unless you can find more space between them and maybe rearrange some air flow towards them.  Opening the side panel of the case should alleviate some of those high temps.

took out the GTX 1080 and GPU temp doesn't even hit 70c now running hashcat :-) VRM temp is ~80c. what an insane difference!

I tried a lower PCI-E slot on my mobo for the 1080 but it wouldn't even fit. I think my case (HAF 932 from wayy back) just wasn't designed for multiple GPUs of today's size.

Wow, Far too hot for that memory. My card under full 4k benchmark loads doesn't go over maybe 65. And the memory is always within 10c of the GPU temp. And rarely do they even hit 75 under full 4k loaded benchmarks. Most the time it's 60-70 under stress. During gaming its mid 50's - 60.

I can't seem to OC my card to get any better results than this:

  The URL is www.3dmark.com/spy/4978193

It seems like a really low graphics score for using the OC BIOS, +110 clock and +500 mem.  I've tried going higher on the memory and gotten worse scores (and any higher than 700 causes TimeSpy crashes), and any higher than 120/125 on the core crashes TimeSpy as well.  I'm probably doing something wrong.  Going to try DDU and reinstalling the drivers here in a bit and see if that helps (I forgot to do that after pulling out my 1080Ti).

Do we know definitively what the "oc bios" does on these cards? It appears nothing but slightly different default fan curves. I also still can't get a timespy or TS extreme run to finish without crashing, though I have no problem with games.

I can't get the link to the TimeSpy score to work through editing the post..

I've never used EVGA cards or the Precision X1 software, but upon using the 'scan' option, this was my highest clock. 2175mhz. Is that pretty decent? The bios switch is on the OC side. I did not happen to look at the temps on the individual memory modules and whatnot, however. Score was +150 at the end of the scan on the X1 software.
Is there a better way I should test?

~edit~ ran the 'test' option afterwards and saw the temps (second pic). up to 90c at the highest point on top memory :\

FWIW

Ryzen 2700x, Noctua D15, PE level 2
2080ti FTW3 +100 core, +1000 memory all three card fans set manually to 65% Memory at the top of the card reading highest @63C through the bench, & right at 70c while folding fwiw GPU is 55c and 62c respectively..

I've only bothered to run 3dMark Time Spy extreme a few times outside of loop mode so forgive the limited data set.

Why not?  After all, the first game I ran on the 2080 Ti was Sid Meier's Pirates!

I think I won a little lottery :) 2175mhz on air! Cannot wait for the watercooler to reach maybe 2200mhz

Memory +1000 possible

What are your 3 fan speeds and memory temps.  My card can't hold a GPU clock beyond +100 offset and the memory starts getting really wonky on my example if I let it go above 75c and above +700mhz offset.  PX1 was not spinning up fans 2 and 3 in rev 0.3.5.1.  They were not spinning up on their own.  I o manually defined their speed to get the core temp down (no affect on max stable), memory notably down temp down, and  memory offset stable at higher speeds.

That score looks ok to me.

Got my card to run at +160 (stable) core which i might try to push to 170-180, and +400 memory because +500/600 memory gives me rainbow artifacts after a while which makes me sad... Runs cool and quiet except for some medium coil whine, which depends on fps and load, especially load. Hopefully getting a 850 G3 helps it a bit + burn in, if not, then I might have to RMA it because its audible without headphones, with headphones tho, you can't hear it really (using dt770 pro).

edit: from what I see, the +500/600 rainbow artifacts i get after a while of gaming might be because of the memory temp (which goes to 75-77C after a while), maybe replacing pads with better ones could help it later down the line.

That's really good.

I wonder what your ASIC Quality is under the Advanced Tab.  It's got to be high.  I would guess 90%+ range.
