Nice. I notice many resellers seem to be doing transparent/translucent shrouds on this line, is that a requirement from NVidia?

EVGA_JacobF,

Just got back from seeing you guys at PAX West 2018! Two quick questions.

1.) Will there be RGB under the transparent shroud? (Yes - I'm that guy)
2.) Any idea if the 2080 Ti FTWx Hybrid will be longer than the 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid?

Thank you!

1. Mainly at the top edge.
2. Same size.

Thanks for the reply! When you say mainly at the top edge - do you mean similar to the 1080 Ti FTW3 Hybrid? I'm not sure if my 'top edge' is your 'top edge'

This is insanity... this Hybrid variants are king of non custom watercooling GPUs.
One guy in my country sad... I bought EVGA Hybrid and never saw such low GPU temperature in gaming in my entire life.

Now I will cry definitely... this is much much better than Founders Edition and EKWB waterblock...
She is so futuristic on best way. She is so cool and in my case will be possible to stay in vertical position visible from this side...

EVGA didn't had single ugly Hydro Copper version, others Galaxy, GIGABYTE are not attractive at all.
But this model is nicest than previous 1-2... I don't know why, maybe because I like silver/black combinations.
This HC FTW3 model will be chronically Out of Stock.

@Jacob, as for the Hybrid XC, will the radiator be available also in size 120 or this size will not be available?
I need to choose between normal XC (2 slot) and Hybrid but i can choose Hybrid only if size 120 will be available as i don't have space for 240 or more in my case.
If this size will be available i will wait for this model, else i will go on air ordering at once. Can you please give me this info? Thank you.

Hello!

@Jacob

I’d also like to know when when can pre-order these little babies. Can we have a rough estimate like month? Week? Days ? Hours ? Minutes :) ?

Thanks!

I also bought EVGA Hybrid and was very impressed with low temps. Never have I seen a card at such low temps like mine burn out and fry where you can smell burning plastic.

Sure these new RTX 2000 series look nice on the out side.
I want to see how they look on the inside.
Has EVGA changed their design and components to fix the burn out issues which plagued the two previous generations?

Any idea on when we can expect to see/order these cards?  I was very close to pulling the trigger on the 2080 ti FTW3 today, but have really loved my Hybrid 1080 ti FTW3.

I'm hoping for 2 things....
1) they release in time for the step up program lol
2) they have quick disconnects to build a "custom" loop.  My build would really benefit from a single large rad vs many small ones and tubes everywhere lol

I'm thinking to get a Hybrid 2080 Ti FTW3 but i'm wondering if it will fit inside an Ncase M1.
Anyone that knows the size? Should i start searching a new case? Q_Q

@EVGA_JacobF,

Can you please indicate if for the Hybrid XC, the radiator will be available also in size 120mm?
I need to know to manage the pre-order because i can insert the card only in this case.
In any other case i will have to preorder the normal XC.

Will there be a standalone kit to upgrade with like prior gens?  I would love to add one to my FE 2080 Ti.

I just pre-ordered a 2080TI FTW3 Ultra...will I be able to change my pre-order to the Hybrid and pay the difference, or will I need to cancel altogether?  If possible I'd rather just be able to change it instead of waiting for a refund....by that time the Hybrid might be sold out..

Hello,

IF i were you, i'd keep the pre-order and resell it @+50/100$ value. I'm sure you'll find someone willing to pay that price since the back orders. In the meantime, enlist on the FTW3 Hybrid preorders and i'm pretty sure by then you'll have sold that ULTRA and you'll have made a little bonus :)

The only difference we have announced are the extra fan and the iCX technology on the FTW3. (fuse and additional thermal sensors.)

Everything is security.

And a beefed up VRM section unless that's all been changed to reference design even though the PCB is still larger judging from what we've seen so far.

I apologize for the confusion, that is on the air version. The hybrid cooling will be a single fan on each card as has been seen in images at https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/2852992

Everything is security.
