Hello guys, i am now the proud owner of the gtx 1080 TI SC2 HYBRID graphics card that i bought second hand (prob end of warranty period). At first not realising that its not just a fan attached to the gpu to blow air at it (lol), and that its literally a radiator with a pump that could fail at any time and be irreplaceable, i assumed that the blower style looking card could function without it.

So, my question is this, good sirs, in the event that it does give out, what are my options? And, to be sure that it does not leave me without a gaming rig, what precautions should i take to keep it running well? Perhaps some solder? some tape?

Any advice is appreciated!

you would need an AIO system (cools the GPU chip) in addition to the bracket with fan (cools minor chips - power & ram)

If and when your pump fails make a post in the want/for sale section. You will need x amount of posts and EVGA permission to do so.
If you're in the USA, someone on here has 2 new and 1 used Hybrid pump/rad assemblies for 9xx and 10xx series GPUs.
Can only buy and sell in the for sale section or I would let you know who has them. So put your mind at ease parts are out there.
