I see reviews online that state that Arctic MX-4 (which is what I am currently using) is slightly better than KiNGPINx thermal compound. However, I have asked people IRL and online about the same question and they say that the KiNGPINx thermal compund is a bit better and more in line with Thermal Grizzly's Kryonaut. Is this true?

I plan to overclock in the future and I need some input.

MX-4 is great thermal paste. I don't plan to change MX-4 because good advertising of Thermal Grizzly.
No evidence that temperatures will be much better in normal condition.
Maybe K|NGP|N paste is made for LN2 specific and have some characteristics better then MX-4 in deep minus.

KPx is meant for subzero cooling to keep the paste from cracking.

On air, it isn’t going to be much different than other pastes.

KP TIM is only going to help -----> Sub-zero OC only

From my personal testing, KPx/Thermal Grizzly/Gillid are about the same at ambient temps. Under LN2 I've had far more success with KPx and TG.
