So I have spent many months quitely working on a way to design a pc that was liquid cooled, in the shape of a pyramid and not too big. What you see below are three renders of something I have been working in google sketchup, the base is 450mm X 450mm, its about 550mm tall and I plan to have two 360mm radiators for mild overclocking. Please offer your feedback regarding my design, such as what you think about airflow, heat dispersion, blah blah blah. I need all the constructive critism to iron out any flaws, I'm not going to have an internal CD drive, its takes up space and I rarely use the one in my computer now. My planned components are: GTX 590's EK 360 radiator X2 SSD PCI express board 2 SSD and 2 HDD (on top of motherboard) Corsair 1200 psu Bitspower dual D5 mod top Swiftech MCP655 pumps

Very unique design. What material will it be made out of?

Not entirely sure yet what its going to be made from, probably aluminum and acrylic. I want to build as much of it myself without having to go to a professional to get materials cut, but I need the proper equipment, something I lack at the moment

I made a custom case once.. and my experience is: Make sure that there is room for cablemanagement!

Idk if you're into Warhammer at all or anything, but that looks like you could easily turn that concept into a Necron Monolith.
Just as any other form of art, modding is a passion, not just a hobby. We fawn over it, we love it, we hold it near and dear to our hearts, we are passionate about it. We are modders, and we are artists. Also, if you like any of the advice I give, please recommend I get a BR, thanks!

As far as cable management goes I was thinking of running cables across the base for the fans, and everything else pretty much straight from the psu to the motherboard, everything sleeved of course.

You could also use the Antec Skeleton as a base:

Cool, I wish you luck and can't wait to see what the final case will look like. Let me know if you need any assistance on the acrylic work!!!

So I looked at the sites people have submitted so far, and also was browsing on frozencpu.com when I noticed koolance has a very nifty dual bay res with dual pumps! So I got the dimensions and incoroporated it into my design, this saves space and you can see from below what the outcome was.

I have updated the design and got a rough estimate of cost for this project, just the case of course, the pc components I want to incorporate reach in the $3000 range I think. But the case, if I get the right people to help shouldn't be more than 300 or 400. But this is my updated watercooling system plan, will this work or not? That's the big question.

Yes, I will update a full picture with all the components tonight if you want to see how it all comes together. I just wanted to know if the w/c loop was going to be enough for mild overclocking on the cpu and maybe the gpu's. Update: This is the chassis that I intend to build, the bottom will be made from aluminum or steel and the rest is acrylic.
