CF Cards are really becoming obsolete and this is more than likely the new technology that will replace it. The cards will be available in early May in 64Gb, 128GB, and 256GB capacities for $100, $190, and $380, respectively. Personally I thought all CF type technology was about to die but my guess was wrong.

Canon still has slots for those, even on the latest models of their cameras. Now they will come very handy. With such speed, I will never have to worry about filling up the buffer. Capacity is also impressive.

For someone taking wedding photos it’s reasonable. They could burst shoot raw images and load them for editing fast pick out the best photos and touch them up.

When you are talking about people using $6000 cameras with $2000 lenses it’s not bad at all.
