This is the last challenge of 2022 and features the GFN-21, GFN-22, DYFL applications, which all support GPUs.
The ninth and final challenge of the 2022 Series will be a 10-day sprint to the end of the year. Can we find a GFN-DYFL prime and end GIMPS's decades-long world record streak?? The challenge will be offered on the DYFL, GFN-21, and GFN-22 applications, beginning 07 December 05:00 UTC and ending 17 December 05:00 UTC.

I believe they are working on CPU tasks for GFN 21,22. Not sure if they are ready (out of beta) yet. Imagine they would be lengthy.

Your welcome! I just happened to be looking at my badges on Prime Grid and seen they had finally posted the info for the last event of the year and figured I would share if no one else had.

Doing a GFN22 now on an 3080 look to be about between 16 and 17 hours.  6.12% per hour at the moment.
GFN22 This project has a 75% long job credit bonus
Guess I will run that to het the bonus points

Here are some of my Tasks 21 and one 21 on the CPU.
https://www.primegrid.com...p;state=0&appid=16
I am down clocking my 3090 & 2080Ti cards because of errors. They are fine up to GFN 19 but not 20 and above.

I would test your GPU OC and you may need to reduce your settings as I did need to reduce all of my 2080 & 3090 cards.

Since I have a single 2080 founders edition I will stick with Gen 21. I considered 22, since I had not run any of those yet. Then I remembered they stuck all the Gen sub projects under the same badge so there is no point in that respect.

My CPU Gen21 task will not sway the challenge in our favor. 48-50 hours it looks like. Shocking, in that Gen20 took 6.5 hrs.

The DYFL will take 29ish which is way shorter than estimated. The 2060 is knocking out the Gen21 in 11 or so, 2 pieces of good news out of 3.

I have found the DYFL tasks pay 15 points per second of run time on my 3080
The other tasks 21, 22 and their short proof tasks were paying 10.5 to just over 12 points per second.
So for now I've been running the DYFL tasks. 16hrs for just under 1,000,000 points. When we get closer tothe end I'll switch over to the shorter tasks.

Yeah, I'm staying on the "Diffles" too. Best bang for the buck in this challenge.
