I've had my new predator x27 monitor for a few days now. It's a beast in games. Far Cry 5 @ 4k with 12 bpc rgb full & hdr is something everyone needs to see, it's simply breathtaking.

Here are a few pics...

I would post some in game pics, but my camera just doesn't take good enough pictures for that.

I was able to walk into micro center and grab one. Mine wont go above 120 hz though, any ideas? I'm connected via the DP cable. Maybe its limitation of DP? Cant do 144hz @ 4k...

Titan V. It runs my old ASUS 144 hz screen just fine. This is the first time iv ever had a 4k monitor.

EDIT: nevermind, i had to go into the monitors menu and find the adjustments. I never had to do this before with Asus screens, but ah well, I feel silly now.

You have to enable overclocking inside the osd menu. After that you'll need to config your nvidia control panel like this...

Yeah i got it running. One note, don't put the over drive to extreme. The pixels get really muddy when anything moves in my experience. It worked best on Normal, for me. What settings do you use?

The monitor OSD. I am at work now so haven't had a chance to really play around with it. I found a setting in win10 to enable the HDR portion, now its correctly showing 10bit colors instead of 8.

Thanks man, ill go set it up. From what i have seen so far this thing is an absolute beast. I love the pic quality, the blacks are displayed correctly now thanks to the 380 + backlights that can be disabled, like the high end TVs. Colors are insane, and ghosting competes with my old TN screen. Simply nuts.

One thing i noticed is if you have HDR enabled in windows, and your monitor goes to sleep or you change a setting within a game, the colors get completely screwed up til you reboot the game. Might  be a windows issue instead of a monitor issue though.

Don't have to worry about that as I'm still running version 1607 of windows 10 which doesn't have the option to enable hdr on the desktop.

Yeah its buggy, but i'm sure over time it will be fixed. To enable HDR in Call of Duty WW2, you are forced to enable it in windows. I will say it looks simply stunning when you do.
