Fresh install on new PC just built. I can't seem to get my FPS to be displayed in the top right corner like I've had for years on my old PC.

Any tips? I've gone into HWM and checked OSD for frame rate, and have OSD toggled in Precision, but nothing shows. Is this an issue with current version?

No OSD at all showing or just no Framerate, FPS?

Nothing at all. I'm not sure. I've previously just had Precision start with windows and run in the background. I've even tried leaving precision up and open when I launch my games, and still nothing.

I'm thinking maybe I'll try uninstalling this and running MSI Afterburner to see if that works. I'm doing nothing different than I used to, so not sure. I supposed If I try something else, perhaps I can rule out software issues.

Unsure at this point I guess.

On a fresh OS and upon launching Precision, Precision should have downloaded and installed a bunch of DirectX updates and some other stuff (Visual Basic stuff, I think)..Did it do all that?

Make sure you grab all the Windows Updates that may be necessary (some may be in the optional update section), and in the Program Files (x86)\EVGA\Precision XOC\Redist folder there's vcredist_x86 and vcredist_x64 and dxwebsetup that you can run to install or repair that stuff.

Yeah, installing MSI Afterburner might install some needed Windows files that are also in common with Precision.

I did a new install of Precision and that fixed it. However, frametime isn't what I thought it was.

Apparently there's no display FPS in precision anymore or I am not finding it.

Anyway, for now I just toggled steam's FPS overlay since 90% of my games I play thru that anyway. Should work for now.

That's cool..But yeah, the Framerate is in the System dropdown at the top of HWM that will add the Framerate, FPS item to the HWM when you checkmark it, then click the OSD button to the left of it so it's lit..Close HWM, then close and open Precision again.

If you don't see the GPU and System dropdowns at the top of HWM, right-click in HWM and select 'Show status'..Or, disable 'Start Minimized' in Precision's settings and restart Precision..Or, open HWM and drag it to the side of Precision and click somewhere in a blank area of Precision to bring Precision to the foreground.
