Precision XOC 6.2.6 still has about 10-15 seconds of keyboard lag after boot. This has been a known issue for over two years, and as of today 4/25/2018 it still has yet to be fixed. If you don't want keyboard lag when you boot your computer, don't buy an EVGA card.

Holy Crap, I've noticed this happening to me lately, but had no clue what was causing it. Thank you.

It's been an issue for a long time now. I'm hoping it can be fixed.

BIOS boot or windows boot ?

must be hard to play games with a 10 sec lag :-)

I can't even use my Windows 7 system for 5 mins after booting due to all the start up tasks with windows taking the most time on a non-SSD disk drive machine

I am now using the OLD  XOC 6.1.16 with my Logitech G19 with LCD display

Sorry to hear your computer is so slow...

I imagine this is the kind of thing EVGA software engineers have been saying to themselves for the last couple years. Times have changed. My computer restarts in 20 seconds. Adding 10 or 15 seconds (or even 5) of  useless keyboard to that time is not acceptable now, or ever honestly. Hopefully EVGA can work it out before another two years pass but I am not holding my breath.

It's quite easy to repeat this issue by removing Precision XOC from startup then running it manually and trying to type in your browser address bar while it is starting up. The startup time is quite slow (10s+) even on a very fast machine and during that time the keyboard randomly freezes.

Exactly. I can't believe how bad this is and how long this issue has persisted.

If MSI Afterburner controlled all the EVGA fans, I'd use it instead. The entire software needs to be scrapped and re-written.... or license Afterburner to EVGA (or hire the software engineers).

If I'd known about this, I'd have never bought an EVGA 1080Ti. I'd have bought another brand.

Are we talking about wired keyboards or Bluetooth units ?
