When I click on the icx button in Precision X1, it only shows the temperature for the GPU. When I hover over the button, it does say that only cards with iCX sensors will display all temps but I thought the FTW3's all had icx sensors.  Is there something I need to do to get it to show all the temps?

I am getting the same thing, did you find anything out about this.
Also getting like 78-80c in metro exodus, hope that is normal temps. My 2060 sc ultra ran it with temps in the upper 60s. Of course I am at max settings with full rtx, dlss quality, 1080p and 90-100fps.

I haven't heard anything about this yet.  Was hoping to hear something today since yesterday was Labor Day and they likely weren't answering the forums.

As for temps, as far as I've heard, up to 80C under heavy load is ok.  I'm kinda in the same boat...I upgraded from a Zotac 2060 to the FTW3 Ultra 3060ti. The 2060 wouldn't push into the 70s under a full load but my 3060ti gets hotter.  I have my fan preset on the 'Aggressive' setting in X1. I've been discussing the GPU temp a lot in the Tom's Hardware forums and everyone assures me that up to 80C is acceptable and won't damage the GPU in the long run.

When I noticed mine was running hotter I started freaking out....thinking I needed a better case with more airflow or something but nah, the temps are all good.  I read somewhere that NVIDIA doesn't even start thermal throttling the cards until 83C.  Oddly with the amount of airflow that the 3060ti passes through the unit, my ambient air temp in my case has risen and is causing my CPU to run a little warmer. The CPU now runs about the same temp as the GPU does but I'm told the temps still aren't problematic.

If you really wanted to bring down the temps of the GPU, you can undervolt the card using the power slider in the X1. Experiment going down with it like 5 notches at a time and see how it affects the temp and performance.  This was the best way I found to reduce the GPU temp. I play NBA 2k21 with a bunch of graphics mods and I could throttle it down quite significantly (65ish) without sacrificing any FPS in game. I use to crank my fans up to 100% all the time but was told that this might wear out the fan motors prematurely so I changed it to the presets in X1.

If you hear anything about the temp sensors tho, lemme know.  Thanks!

Thanks for the reply.  I have upped the fan preset to Aggressive and set power target to 9%% and temp target to 78c instead of the 83 the default has it, oh and put fans on auto.
Since doing this i haven't seen it pass the mid 70s, of course i haven't played metro exodus since though so I don't know if its the ultra settings mixed with RTX all on and dlls that was causing the 80+ temps before.

I have played AC Valhalla, Tomb Raider, No mans sky, Diablo2 (haha), Grim Dawn, Mount and blade2, and none of them have hit my 78 temp settings.

I still want to know why the X1 icX isn't showing for this card.  It's on the damn box that its an ICX card.
It also shows in HWinfo utility but there is no data listed. Are the drivers messed.

I also turned on ReBar ... Do you have that enabled?  I had to do a bios update on mobo for that to work, but that shouldn't affect the ic3.  I didn't do a graphics card firmware update or anything like that. its stock.

Hey EVGA are you people listening.  Why is icX only showing the gpu temp and not all the sensors?
Some response would be nice as this is your icX card and it looks like that isn't working in your software.

Also worth noting, this is one of the newer LHA cards to stop miners would that have something to do with it?
Is there any other software to monitor this?

or without hitting icx button:

Please note that only cards with iCX Technology have sensors that can be read in Precision X1.  EVGA 30 Series Cards with iCX come with either iCX Cooling or iCX Technology (which also includes iCX Cooling). The EVGA RTX 3060 Ti cards, including the FTW3 cards, only contain iCX Cooling advantages, so there are no sensors that can be read in PX1 or third-party applications.

Well i guess that answers that.  EVGA puts ICX cooling on the 3060ti cards but not the ICX cooling technology....which seems kinda odd to me.  Wouldn't you want to include the sensors so the ICX cooling system knows what to do and when to do it?  Without the sensors, it's just a basic heatsink with preset fan speeds but marketed as some proprietary "cooling technology."

@EVGATech_LeeM. You might want to have a chat with your forum moderators because they are providing inaccurate information to users.  (See my picture-post from a forum post made by moderator "Cool GTX"). He said that all FTW3 cards have "iCX technology."

@Marketshade.  I don't have Re-size bar enabled in my bios.  There's so very few gaming titles that actually utilize the Re-size bar technology and if the game you are playing doesn't support it (and you have it enabled), you can actually see some decreases in performance (aka...FPS).  Source:  PCMag.com
This is a bit of a letdown to hear.  It's still a great graphics card, don't get me wrong...but I feel I was duped into thinking the iCX cooling technology (aka...the sensors) was included in the card by EVGA. (ATTACHED: Image from EVGA website showing "iCX3 Cooling" as the first feature in the list)

In fairness to our volunteer moderator, based on the date/time of the post in your image (10/23/2020), that was approximately over a month before the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti cards launched (12/2/2020).  His post was accurate at the time it was made.

Do you have anything you can provide as a reference for that?   (Is there something showing that between October 23, 2020 and December 2, 2020, that EVGA was originally going to put the "iCX3 Technology" in the cards but then decided not to.)

At this point, it doesn't really matter, the card doesn't have the sensors but it's a matter of principle.  I'm an EVGA customer and I'm being told that I was just supposed to know, what would likely be, internal information about the product from the company. I mean...these things aren't cheap.  A little more transparency would really be nice.

Note:  Per BizSar's suggestion, I have opened up a support ticket with EGA.
