My ride : the NYC subway (well, that and the obligatory black Lincoln Town Car when I use car service). Used to own a Subaru 4WD wagon before I moved to NYC, but too expensive to have a car living in NYC. Parking and insurance are insane, and chances are someone will steal it anyway.

Need to put my replacement tranny in my Festiva  I have the sedan 4sp auto model. Needs some work... timing ans tuning wise. and of course the top is rusted through. Need to fix the brakes,Vehicle Speed Sensor, and Exhaust on my 96 accord. 96 grand AM totalled(old lady didnt see me). Don't get me started on my motorcycle projects... dirt bikes, ATVs, and Cruisers for me. Tired of tickets...

When I first bought it.  Just took the resonator off. Going to be getting an APR downpipe plus Midpipe, after that I am going to add a Borla catback system. Mostly gonna add APR Stage III stuff like the ECU, Turbo + Manifold and Intake and Intercooler. Also gonna drop it and add some sick BBS'. Hopefully I can get around 450-475bhp with all the stuff added and tuned correctly for around $6,000-$7,000.

I've been thinking about getting something else, but the thing is, the current 18" wheels are comfy, and anything above that will lessen the comfort too much for my liking. My dad has an S class, like mine(one behind mine), thats riding on 20's, and Im not too fond of its ride comfort. Plus, I have no intention of ricing up my car  , its a Mercedes, damn it!

Nice, if you can do it without too much boost, that's a lot of extra hp, you may need forged pistons. What about the trans?

Never said you should, I just don't like that rim style for that car. Believe me, I love my ride comfort too in my infiniti, and heard 20's and above wreck the ride comfort. Its just the style of the rim I don't like, the spokes are too thick for my taste. Example

I do agree the spokes are somewhat fat, but those are AMG rims which came with the car, they are super easy to clean, and since I dont usually keep any car longer than a year or so, I dont see new wheels as a reasonable investment. I do, however, appreciate your thoughts and opinions

Here's mine. Realized I don't really have anything good with a better angle on it. Will have to fix that during this year's season of drives with the club. I do have pics with better angles, but I don't like them for various reasons lol. Oh this is my DD as well, only about 10 miles round trip.

btw that 944 few pages back is sweet as!
boo the boxer. Porsche took a dive since the 993 which was the last true Porsche. that is something said coming from a person who is obsessed with nothing but air cooled VW's and Porsches
1000's and 1000's of Porsche's with M96 and M97 engine have catastrophically failed well before 100K most even before 50K
I don't think over revving killed the engine on the 2nd vid like the guy says, but more than likely crap from the failing IMS bearing got into the oil system and cause this as this is very common.
