 2003 VW GTI 1.8T modded daily driver dynoed to 275hp 330lbs ft tq runs 13.1 in the 1/4. and it gets 35mpg on the fwy. this pic was before i redid the suspension.

 1998 Ford Contour SE - I wish it was the SVT variant, those cars are sleepers. Other than that, it is a great car. Cheap, fast enough to get you in trouble, but not flashy enough to get noticed.

well its a work in progress, been building it since i was 19. My 1973 Ford F-250 4x4 High-Boy. I've stripped it down to the frame and have rebuilt, restored, or replaced every single part on this truck and added some goodies along the way :) I have rebuilt every component on this truck including transmission, transfer case, engine, front and rear axle + plus brakes. The only thing i had to outsource was the engine block to have it bored and the internals balanced. Its been a labor of love for that past 6 years. Ford 390C.I. FE bored .60 over (406ci) 500+ HP, 600+ Ft lbs. Torque Forged pistons: 10:1 comp ratio Baffled rear sump oil pain w/ windage tray Edlebrock Performer Aluminum heads with oversized valves Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum intake manifold Crane Powermax cam (cant remember specs) and Hyd. lifters Crane Aluminum roller rockers Crane XR1 electronic ignition Gear reduction starter Centerforce Dual friction 11" clutch NP 435 Transmission NP 205 Transfer-case with twin stick mod (drive front or rear axles independently) Dana 60 front and rear axles. 4.10 gears/open (stock for now, will be replaced with 4.88 gears and electric locking differentials soon.) Power steering conversion, along with cross over steering with 1 ton chevy TRE's Chevy Hydroboost brakes 12,000lb Milemarker winch on front, 9000lb M.M. winch on rear (possibly, still deciding) 38.5" x 15.50" x 16" Super Swamper Boggers York compressor converted for onboard air system 4 core radiator with electric fans 4 inch Skyjacker soft-ride lift + 3 inch spring hangar drop downs. Dyno-Jet longtube headers and X-pipe, (muffler TBD) When i first got it...  Then after stripping and painting the frame and rebuilding the rear and new front axle (replaced dinky dana 44 axle)  Also test fitting tires and checking clearances.  Small tires go back on and is rolled into the garage to add newly rebuilt drivetrain and prime mover :O  And this is where im currently at. I'm hoping to get her done in the next couple of months and finally be able to turn the key....if the finances allow.

LOL yeah back when I was single it made for a very good conversation piece when meeting a girl. I get a lot more looks in it than I did in my last car. Matter a fact, I brought it up to statesboro one weekend after I got it and it helped in the slaying of a few GA southern girls

well i went for a new car this time. after spending a week test driving every new car available at the time (from performance to little get about's) i went home and had a big think about what i really needed on a car. i settled on one the got good fuel economy with blue tooth mp3 6 speaker radio with mp3 player inputs, abs ebd brakes, remote central locking, alarm with immobilizer, either a wagon or a small hatch, nice seats because i do 100k's round trip to work every day.
most cars i looked at wanted lots of money for the extra's i wanted then i seen the little hyundai Getz it had every i wanted standard.
(only thing i paid for extra was the tinted windows)
