There are a few programs to do that, not exactly sure which specific one he is using. I use to use Stardock ObjectDock which can be found here. There is a free version which is rather basic and then one you can buy which has a lot of eye candy.

sinsear Hmm, never really understood the whole infatuation with the Mac OS X dock. They're for people who like really clean looking desktops I think. At least ones with a lot of programs. I downloaded Rocketdock to give it a try. I use to always use a dock. Then I switched to Vista and never really upgraded, got use to not having one. Actually think I'll stick with this set up. I need to go make some more dual screen backgrounds though. Stupid Windows doesn't support different pictures per screen.

You can download this little App called DisplayFusion It's free and its what I'm using right now for my triple monitor setup. Works great and its very simple to use. Also has many other features that I haven't had the time to explore yet.

Though when I switched to W7 I started using the whole give it a folder and it will cycle through the wallpapers. I have to buy the full version to do that with DisplayFusion. Maybe one day I'll stop being so cheap, or just find a way to obtain it through other means.
