Everything I consistently use is pinned to my start menu or taskbar. Everything else? Pft, who cares

Thanks yours is too. I wish I could convince myself to get rid of my desktop shortcuts like you did lol

My evga desk

I use objectdock and a slightly modded aero msstyle along with a wallpaper I modded as well. It kinda goes with the subtle blue led on my storm sniper case [ and makes me think all is running cooler because of the cool blueish colors], heh.

Sharp eyed people may notice I have a bit of a theme going here.

Also, note the total lack of icons, toolbars, or docks. Besides Rainmeter, I like a totally clean minimalistic desktop!

It a desktop, not an art gallery. It's also a pain to open up the start menu every time you want to do something or memorize macros for programs and files.

I think people forget that sometimes.

I can understand preferring minimalism.. just as long as you're not robbing yourself of functionality. How can someone get lost in a project of any kind where folders and files are getting made, edited, moved around constantly? Do they have some kind of "desktop" (commons) folder to work out of?

Functionality is more beautiful than anything to me.

Aside from that though, I'm sure many people who post their desktops do a cleaning, print screen, and then everything is back to be cluttered within a few days. lol

I like how you have them separated, I'd never have my taskbar set to autohide but I might try that.

A little program for all of you people with the icons. Its called Fences.

Google it since i dont feel like uploading my desktop to show. lol. But  it helps organize all of your icons amazingly by having little bubbles to put them into. And if you double click the desktop all of your icons disappear. So, if your showing your desktop, make them disappear and show them but if your working or w/e and need them just double click and they reappear.
