As we all know, a few weeks ago, TF2 went free, and now Portal just went free. Go here, and scroll down, and it will say "Free", and just click install to download it. Hope everyone enjoys it! Portal 2 is amazing, but this one is still really awesome, makes you really use your brain.

if it doesn't work when you click install, download the demo, and then it should say installing, and that's the full game. It's just a glitch right now for some reason.

Nice. I just downloaded the demo, and of course, then it had the full game for download. Pretty happy since it's free. I played it on the 360, but never on PC.

I got it free when Nvidia had promotion with it back in May of 2010

Portal is/was classic! The dialog and scriping is brilliant!
Portal 2 got a little carried away I think but it really carried this excellent witty dialog through just like the first game did.

Portal is magic, I'm trying to think of who I know that doesn't have it. This seems like a great promotional move for not only Portal 2, but also Steam. You can play P2 with out playing the first, but I would advise against it.
I think there is a braking point in Portal, if the player gets the full Portal gun, they are think in Portals and can finish it. But if they can't get past just having the Blue portal its not for them.
Is this anyone's first time playing it? Try not to spoil anything for your self, Portals magic is in its surprises. Its roughly 4 hours...
I would love to hear opinions when you finish it.
