I am trying XR1 on Mac OS and Windows.
I add Evga XR1 device to OBS Studio with default settings. The picture appears for a few seconds. Then a black screen.
I change the settings to custom resolution 1920 * 1080 60 fps. After clicking OK, the computer screen is displayed again. After about 5 seconds, a black screen.
The situation is similar on Windows.
Can anyone give a setup order to solve the problem. Thanks.

You may need to disable HDCP using the XR1 RGB software https://cdn.evga.com/capturedevice/evga_xr1_rgb_1.0.0.exe click on the Info icon in the upper left to disable HDCP.

Wait...does this mean I can leave HDCP enabled on the PS4, for example, but just disable it via the RGB software?  What else does that RGB software do?  I was under the impression it just was RGB/volume settings.  Can it do other things?

Literally just that, RGB/volume control and disabling and enabling HDCP. You may or may not need to disable it on the console side, really depends on the console and how it will handle the HDMI handshake.

ahh, well that's disappointing.  But it's good to hear that I might not have to disable it on the console side.  I'll give that a shot since having to enable/disable HDCP on the PS4 everytime we want to watch anything is gonna be a bit annoying.  Fingers crossed, thanks!
