I have two EVGA 1600w T2's on the way. I'll be using these to power my eight 1080 Ti Rig. I want to run the power through a 3-prong 30a Dryer Outlet. I want to have surge protection and battery backup to protect from outages. Any advice?

The dryer plug (10-30?) is like the gray one here (edit - can't share links)

When you have a licensed electrician at your home to make sure everything is safe, speak with them about the best option for a backup power source. You might need a whole house type backup generator system with a Uninterruptible Power Supply.

MSim, your advice about the electrician was already provided. I'm hoping that you had a genuine concern for my safety and that you wouldn't intentionally waste my time and money.

The correct answer is to contact a reputable provider of Uninterruptible Power Supplies and to acquire the appropriate NEMA 10-30 cable. Expect to pay just over $3,000 for top quality equipment and service.
