Here a other PCI-E speedproblem.
I have a Geforce GTX Titan SC @ H²O wich normaly supports PCIe x16.
The X79 Dark reads it out as Pcie x4  and sets it to x4.
So my Titan runs at only 4 lanes!!!!
How can i get it to  16 lanes?
The setting in the bios has no efect to it.

For EVGA RMAs you would just send the motherboard itself with and cover the CPU socket, either with the CPU socket cover or something else to protect it during shipping.  The replacement shipped will just be the motherboard itself with no accessories.  We do not wait for the testing and repair before shipping out the replacement so the replacement will be a different physical board.  You can see the full warranty details including the shipping here.

That is not what I was told when I RMA'd my X79 FTW?
So EVGA made me waste $80 sending the whole
box and contents back ..... thanks for that, NOT!

Thanks Matt, I read up on that before I shipped it on Monday.  It arrived today by ground since I am in NorCal so its fast from here no matter what. I asked to cause I have the orginal box still and the shipping box. wasn't sure if I would need them yet but it seems like a no for now. Hopefully the new board will work perfectly.

Update, got my RMA board in today, got everything plugged in and that, get into BIOs, same thing. It shows PCI-E at 1 instead of two. So I plug in my hard drive and boot to windows to find the same thing. Call up tech support, after troubleshooting a bit more and go to a higher level tech person, I am told this is a known issue and a future BIOs will resolve the error but it should be running at full PCI-E 2 and not 1 like it shows. Wish they could have said this before I did the RMA, would save me around 50 bucks for shipping. Then again the board I had did give me some issues with the new BIOs, this one is not besides a random FF which is odd so I have loosened the heatsink some to  see if that is the issue, otherwise it runs good.

So if anyone has this old of a card and has the same issue, don't worry, they are working on it. hopefully the BIOs fix is soon for this.

To bad I can't afford the graphics card I want, otherwise I would buy that.
