Hello EVGA community.

I just received my first EVGA product today.  The GTX 970 SC  2974.  In fact, this is my first Nvidia card.

Do people here OC with editing the bios in their cards..  I mean once you figure out how far it can go...  do you hard set it in the bios parameters?  Is there a flash utility from EVGA?  I"m not sure, but is there a dual bios switch for the 970's?

Just curious if many people OC this way.

    General information regarding Evga products:

Using a Bios not authorized or condoned by Evga may void your warranty, if it is damaged by such Bios, and/or cannot be reverted back to the original Bios condition, including making the card inoperable by making such changes. Unauthorized changes to the BIOS or Firmware on a graphics card that does not have a Dual BIOS option, may cause this warranty to be null and void.

Personally I just use afterburner and have it apply the overclock on start-up. I cannot seem to find the post, but someone from evga did make a comment about it and it basically was the same as the aftermarket cooler rules, if you damage the card in the process it will void your warranty and when you rma the card, it must have its original bios's. So if it ends up in a state where you can't flash the bios back, the warranty is void. So basicly +1 to xray
