One last question: can I change the termal paste and pad After 2 years or i will invalid the warranty?

Yes, you can. As long as you don't damage the card in the process your warranty will stay valid.

Not 100% on the size. I would recommend you call evga tech support to get the proper info. You should be able to buy pads at newegg.com

Using 1080ti ftw3 on stock settings. Fan curves are set to aggressive. On 1440p im having 70-75c temps after about 30mins playing modern warfare. Are these temps high or normal? Changed thermal paste 1 month ago. Tried with open case but results are nearly same i think airflow is fine.

Hello and Welcome to Forum
Your graphic card is very good temperature which don't reach 83c it will down clock due cooler temp!! Your temperature is fine!
My overclock to 2125 mhz run benchmark at 99% usage with no offset voltage and default power and temp limit reach at 75c ish which I don't see go up 80 or more yet!!
We must have very good cooler thermal pasta

Hello all, I've been having some issues with my GTX 1080ti FTW3.
My graphic card always crashes when playing a game with the cryengine (huntshowdown, wolcen). I get a dxdiag error device hung code. The only way around this is by underclocking the card by 100mhz or running it in debug mode. I use to have a similar problem in destiny 2 but that seems to have been fixed now. The card runs perfectly fine in everything else at stock.
Also note that with my CPU at stock speed and GPU as factory setting, before Wolcen crashed I started seeing big black square appear on the screen randomly (the game always crash within the first 5 minutes when the card is set to default).
I've done a fresh windows install, tried with my cpu OC and stock and still having the same issue. Also i'm using the latest drivers 446.14. My warranty runs out in spectember so i'm not sure if I should RMA the card.
My PC is:
AMD Ryzen 1700 @3.9GHz
16GB RAM @3200 G skill Tridentz
Asus X370 F gaming
Any help would be appreciated.

Almost looks like a design flaw where there was a short to the metal backplate. That pad is is compressed down to nothing where those components were.

Sooo, my FTW3 turned a bit brown last Friday. Combined with 950 mV downvolt (at around 1900 MHz) it's cool and silent now.

Plugged in to test, case (SKTC S02) not yet assembled:

It's alive!

ELI5: I disassembled stock fans and epoxied Noctua A9x14s to the original mounting plates. Desleeved and shortened fan cables, crimped new terminals and used GPU mini-fan adaptors to connect to board - my crimper is too big for mini-gpu terminals.

Temps don't go above 65-70 in Cyberpunk, fans are quieter than my SF600. Should have done this sooner, Noctua is life.
