Ended up getting UTX... great product for what it is designed to do. It looks great with the FTX PNW demo... try it out! Nice set-ups Brad! The rearview idea is cool, do it!

Just dropped the dough for FSGenesis... Wow, why did I wait so long? The contours and elevations are a huge differnace from the default engine. As soon as I can land a GTX 580, my FSX sim will be complete!

I enjoyed FSX, I wish there was more traffic and the graphics were better but I really enjoyed it. I spent most of my time flying around Seattle-Tacoma International airport; are the runways 24R/L or 34R/L? I cant remember

ARCTIC_EAGLE I enjoyed FSX, I wish there was more traffic and the graphics were better but I really enjoyed it. I spent most of my time flying around Seattle-Tacoma International airport; are the runways 24R/L or 34R/L? I cant remember 16 and 34 L/R/C, IRL, and just the 2 runways in FSX. FS9 was the golden age of flight sim, I spent tons of time with all the sims going back to FS95. All the Georender airports were awesome in FS9, Alaska Cinematic, megascenery, the Dreemfleet planes, those were the days. I used to beta test for FlyTampa, spent hours testing Kai Tak for Martin. FSX kind of killed the enjoyment of flight sim for me. That was a huge letdown of a sim, I would have been happy if they made FS9 use 1m scenery and not done FSX.

Anybody own P3D for ORBX products (namely PNW)? What does it do for ya? I only have one computer and own FSX... PNW. Does it enhance the scenery?

P3D has higher texture capabilities than FSX. I did away with FSX in favor of P3D developer's subscription because of the improved detail options. I use REX and P3D. Not used any OrbX stuff in P3D yet though. I typically fly out of vegas in flight sim and OrbX hasn't done Nevada area yet. On a sightly different subject, MS Flight comes out in a week or so. I'm curious to see the mechanics of it and how that plays into multi-display use and aircraft add-ons.

I think Flight will be better (better coded, etc) then FSX, but right now with my add-ons (REX 2.0/ UTX/ FSGenesis/ FSWC/ Shade/ ORBX PNW) it wont look as good. Hopefully some of these add-ons will be compatible with Flight so I can move over as well someday. As of right now, Im sticking to FSX. Just my .02

Sounds cool. I'm getting some new screen material to test later this week. I'm hoping once I get one of my screens back up I can do some MS Flight flying sometime mid-week. I re-installed X-Plane 10 tonight on my system. It's more of a resource hog than FSX is/was. hehe, silly mods. I snuck past the 12500 milestone without you guys being any wiser about it. Happy anti-milestone to me!

I've converted totally over to Prepar3d and DCS World for my flying now.
