...but seriously,  for some reason I am addicted to the Multiplayer
 
They are small maps but all the different options / weapons / attachments make for some good fun. 
4 man/alien squad busting galactic ass......

I had a great time up until the end not taking into account anything I did the entire series... I was expecting more, but I still don't regret my time in the Mass Effect universe.

Question FOR THOSE THAT ENJOYED IT:

Other than the original ending, did you guys enjoy the game otherwise?  So far I am approximately 5-6 hours in, and I am having a blast.  I won't know for a while, but I can't imagine a crappy ending wiping away the entire game?

It is an awesome game, that is until you reach the last 10 minutes.  The ending was horrid, so bad that it does ruin the whole experience.  It is hard to imagine an ending that would ruin the game as a whole, but Bioware somehow managed to find one that makes playing the whole series meaningless.  The real issue was that Mass Effect was built on the advertised premise that over the course of three games your decisions matter and will craft the final outcome.  Now imagine that none of your decisions made any difference in the ending, as if all your work to defeat the reapers was for nothing, the ending made no sense and was full of huge plot holes, all your relationships built were for nothing, just a mess.   I have not seen the new endings yet, but I have read it helps, so make sure you download that before finishing.

The warps don't actually blow up just the power source.

As someone who hated the original endings, I like the "fixed" ones MUCH more.  Still not as good as they could have been, but I def. don't feel as screwed over as I did, and I got more closure.  For reference, I chose synthesis.  I'll prob just youtube the others.
 
They even added the ability to refuse the options now with a new (imo crappy) ending, either through dialogue, or as I found out on accident, shooting the starchild in the head lol.

I agree, I absolutely felt betrayed honestly that Bioware screwed up the ending to a 4 year long game series THAT BAD I almost wanted to throw up. All that work, decisions, play time and money and it seemingly meant SQUAT in the end. The new endings are CRAP loads better explaining what the hell happened to the point where I actually feel better now finishing ME3 and the series rather then having my balls ripped off and thrown away and then punched in the stomache after the original endings

If EA would quit rushing game developers....

Definitely much better. I originally preferred Destroy as it seemed more in line with what I wanted to accomplish with the story, but after completing the new Synthesis ending, I have to say that that one really made it for me.

If you don't have any saves near the ending I'd prob find an HD version of it (endings) on youtube. If you do have a save near the end, to me it was worth running through the last mission and checking out what they added/changed to the ending I picked the first time.
 
I still wouldn't play the ENTIRE game over for it though, although now I might bother playing it again sometime down the line.

The new endings helped, but still nothing more than spraying air freshner on a turd.  It has been interesting watching Bioware's fall from greatness.  Once considered one of the top developers in the industry, now just another EA studio full of shortcuts and bad decisions focued on short term profits.       

This whole ending deal makes me happy i got distracted and stopping playing it. Now i can pick it back up and not have to worry about being letdown/pissed off at the end.
