Very nice look to your layout

is that flow/temp sensor going to interfere with top GPU?

Or are you not using that slot with backplate cooler issue, does not clear other items

Thanks Cool
I use the second for now with the active plate, top gpu without active plate will fit top slot, without interference from the flowmeter.
also I know the Rad has some crap on it from badges I had put on it before lol

Thanks Bud, not really clean but I have to wait for the parts that I want so I'm using my old stuff like the Rad.

I also love the gold and black tubing you picked. It almost gives it a steampunk vibe. Great build, and looking forward to seeing more!

Quick Question need some input or data.
We all know Reddit has some screwy people, but maybe I'm missing something from the time I built my last Rig.
I always thought 2 separate loops are better, including 2 pumps.
Now I'm hearing use one Pump D5>Rad>CPU>RAD>GPU>RES.
With 3 cold plates, CPU and GPU + Active, Is the pump powerful enough to push that? I know they are quite strong but?
let me know guys :)

Re: Not another build thread 2023/03/12 09:45:15 (permalink)
One D5 can definitely push that. Also, most people don't max out gpu and cpu at the same time, so having two rads cooling whichever one is running harder at the time is better. Also, depending on the setup in the case, if the intake is through the gpu rad, then you're putting all the heat from that inside the case, not exhausting from the top rad out of the case. If both radiators exhaust, then it isn't really a problem either way. Most cases aren't set up by default to have both radiators exhaust though. Really just depends on your usage.

You can also run two pumps in series in the same loop (don't do parallel, that generally doesn't work well) if you're worried about head pressure.

Good points thanks B0ba

This Rig will mostly be used for OC'ing and benching, I thought of the heat that's why I use the bottom rad for gpu, I will have more air flow coming in from 2 other locations, right know I changed the whole setup.
Also I bought 2 packs of 4x 14mm x 500mm tubing. So far I used 2 for the whole rig so plenty room of changing up and trying both ways, I will record the date and see.
I got a 45mm 360 Alphacool Rad on top for the CPU with the smaller side RES.
changed out the silver ring with the golden one on my EK Magnitude 1700 waterblock with the Heatkiller thick Backplate.
I will conclude all parts used in a narrowed down parts list on completion.

Looking jaw dropping! Yeah, it took me over a month to build my current rig with the chopping and hacking the case here and there. It happens. End result will be worth it. Heck, I feel like building another one lol.

In regards to the temps, depending how anal you are, you could have a real adventure testing different fan speeds at different GPU and CPU loads to see how your hardware and water temperature reacts.

That gold offset color really pops. Sweet rig man. Personally I think clean 90 bends look better than using 90 fittings and in some ways they make it look like a lot more is happening than what really is.

Thanks all....but for some reason I'm not that happy, I don't know why.
Even performance wise it kicks butt, I don't know maybe it's just me.

It's a great build. Sometimes when you're not happy about a build that allows fresh ideas to appear instead of complacency.

Im surprised you arent happy. It is nicely done. When I did my build in my 011 Dynamic, I decided to go with a D5 pump instead of a distro plate. I think distro plates are over used and not as clean looking as the tubes are just straight and look plain. I think routing of the loop and clean 90's is what makes a build pop. You should be happy with your build though. I think the only thing that would change it drastically would be cleaning up some of the fittings. Sometimes less is more but its quite good the way it is.

Thanks Guys, well I made some changes on it and still working on more other small things. Also added PrimoChill Vue Pre-Mix Gold in the GPU loop, meaNS IN 3-6 Months it's getting reflushed lol
Color wise is not that easy to find a program that doesn't use a chunk of resources, currently using the Lian Li 3 connect, setting the colors and then have it disabled on startup.
Ram led's using a program called OneRGB or something. ICUE and ASUS crap are using huge chunks of cpu and memory.
So far I've gotten great results like over 6000 MHz on the CPU, 130124 points with AIDA64 Memory Read and 13796 marks with XTU 2.0 and SuperPi - 1M - 5sec 394ms  @ 6000MHz

Seems like manufacturers have paid little to no attention to RGB control software compatibility .
I did not know that they also take a lot of system resources .  How annoying .

P.S.  I really like the gauges .

Yes it's almost crazy, even the razer firmware is insane, so I just set it and forget it, for benching I kill all processes and services running.
