As you can see by the title that's my issue, before someone says it yes my drivers are up to date because i see you guys saying that to everyone. Now it is the first time i installed custom cooling like this so maybe i missed something.

Maybe a stupid question but i connected it to my msi radeon hd 7950 since pinwise it matched up, should i instead connect them onto the motherboard instead? Would seem odd to me but since it's my first time doing this i'm keeping an open mind to what's possible.

If someone has an answer please let me know.

No supported hardware detected... What hardware is not detected? You explained the problem, but I don't see anything about what hardware you are talking about.

You mention something is connected to a radeon 7950, but this is an intel/Nvidia forum mainly, so I am guessing you have something blue or green installed and can't get it to work.

Just a shot in the dark here.. If you have a radeon gpu and an Nvidia gpu in the same build, they won't work. Nvidia doesn't support dual gpu from different than manufacturers. They stopped that after users were installing get 2 Nvidia cards and 2 AMD cards at the same time. The make the Nvidia cards non functional when AMD/Radeon devices are installed at the same time.

Well i installed the arctic accelero extreme iv 280 () yesterday, according to the manual that came with it i had to go to wich led me to the evga site. I had no idea this is an intel/nvidia forum mainly but the fact is that the information led me here and tells me that i can use this software to control my fans on that cooler. So getting a hardware not supported error is pretty odd to say the least.

To the last edit: i don't have 2 graphic cards only the 1 radeon hd 7950 (wich is listed as supported by the cooling system)

If you have an amd card with the Accelero Extreme, you will need to utilize software that controls AMD cards. The software on here is exclusively for Nvidia cards.

http://www.amd.com/en-us/...e/downloads/overdrive#

That is the link where you will need to download the software. Make sure you fully erase the software you already have downloaded so the two don't freak out and panic and try to dual to the death in the back ground... OK, maybe it won't actually so the dialling part, but it would be fairly epic.

The reason the Accelero Extreme linked you here is because when installed on an Nvidia based card, this software would be able to control your fans.

Please, let me know when you install it if it works.

I installed it but it seems it will only work with AMD CPU's. Getting a notification on start up that it can't detect an amd cpu on this pc. Or that the current cpu does not support overdrive. I have an intel cpu so it's correct on that but seems odd that i can't start it since i would just use it on the gpu.

Edit: Also if this software is only for nvidia they should really add that in the manual, seems kind of critical to me :p

Ok, I linked the wrong one... Give me a second.

Try this one. The 7950 is in the supported list, so that should be it.
