No fan management without Precision ?

Hello,
 
I've noticed something strange :
 
My card ( RTX 2080 super ) was going to 90° without activating my fan and it gave me some artifacts like the "space invaders" while playing some recent games like Horizon or Resident Evil 2 on 4k.
They started only when i launched Precision X1 ( V 1.0.3 )
 
During my test i've done some reboot.
At each reboot, the Precision X1 icon showed up in the systray and disappeared when the mouse goes on.
But, the strangest part is that " start with OS" was unticked... ???
 
I've upgraded to precisionX1 1.1.7, now my card is managing my fan correctly without precisionX1 launched, but i still have the icon on start which is disappearing...
 
I'm quite annoyed since because of that, my card is probably damaged or her life has been shortened...
Do you know how i can test it to be sure that she is still ok ? :/

    Sorry to hear there are artifacts with your 2080 Super, and PX1 is not working correctly.

    You may need to run DDU, and set a custom fan curve if the GPU is getting to 90c again. Try deleting the App Data files before deleting PX1.
     
    You can try running an sfc /scannow in command prompt, as Administrator to see if maybe a corrupt file is causing this issue.
