With the introduction of the new coffee lake cpu's... the wait is over and time to build a new rig! Before the start of the build... retirement is coming for my old EVGA P55 build.

Looking Good I was lucky and did get the Z370 FTW + GTX 1080 Ti FTW Hybrid Bundle as few weeks back. The AIO Hybrid II (Completed) I did end up Deliding my i7-8700K CPU and use LM for my Thermal Paste. 20C+ Drop in Temperatures. The PCH Diode (Chipset) Runs the hottest of all at around 48-50C.

Worked on the Rig a little more tonight... Have a big project I need to work on this week at work, looks like I have to wait until next weekend to get some more time to build again. Removed the stock thermal paste on the CLC 280 and reapplied Arctic MX-4 and finally finished the cpu cooler installation. I'm using the 2 stock 280 CLC fans for the pull up top, and the thermatake Riing 14 for the push underneath the rad.

Finally was able to pick up the rest of the components for my build today! Had to change directions for the bottom back fan to bring air in, Current fan orientation: Front 3 140mm fans intake Bottom back 140mm fan intake Top back 140mm fan exhaust Top 4 140mm push/pull rad setup exhaust Top 1 140 mm fan exhaust (inside center 2 120mm fan directing flow upwards) ) Build is finally finished! Going to put some power to this tomorrow! Wish me luck!

You did a nice job on the paint, fits the color scheme nicely. Will the Plexus spray take care of small scratches or would I need a different product?? Great build!! +1 Also, you could step-up the 1070ti, but only choice ATM is a 1080ti SC black. [6393] Until they release the next gen cards.

Thanks a lot for all the support guys! My heart was set on the 3 fan 1080ti in white, but this 1070 ti looks pretty sharp. My experience with the plexus is that it does get rid of small light scratches, it is a plastic Polisher. but for bigger scratches you need to use a headlight restoration kit from the auto stores. I’m out now, but hopefully in a couple hours I can put some juice in this build!

Put power to it.... had a lot of different lights flicker ! Then realize it is RGB ! Looks like everything is working, all fans are spinning and lighting up. Hard drive are spinning and no error codes! Now comes the long process of setting up the computer! Next step... Setup, OC, then benchmarking!

Thanks for the nice comment! I tried out the new OCX scanner, and I have to say that it was so easy to perform a OC. Using that scanner it OC the video card to +114 MHz, and improved my Firestrike score from 17 085 to 17 431. Hopefully using manual OC, hitting 18 000 is possible!

yeah nice build. surprise you get that good of temps with that aio and tubing, and here I am wanting to go overkill with 1/2"x5/8" and a 360mm rad.

Thanks, I'm wondering if the push/pull radiator setup is helping a lot during the benchmarks. Running the 2 140mm Thermaltake fans at the bottom and the 2 stock 140mm EVGA rad fans on top seems to be moving a lot of air out during benchmarking. I've not seen cpu temps run over 50 deg, with the current ambient room temperature sitting around 22 deg C.

Those are very good temps especially if under full load.

Did a small revision on the build... mostly peripheral stuff. Loving the new system though. Asus VG278 144Hz 3D monitor- Have to say, what a difference going from 60 Hz gaming to 144Hz is! Team Night Hawk 16G RGB kit- Decided to pull the trigger to up the memory to 32G total. Just worried if they discontinue the memory, I wont be able to purchase in the future. 4 Silverstone Sata cables- Love the look of these cables in the store so decided to switch them when doing the revision. Munchkin 500G SSD drive- Giving this new SSD a try, would probably end up being my games drive. Astro A40 + Mixamp - Really liking these compared to my old Logitech headset. What a difference it made when listening to music and gaming. Logitech Z333 2.1 speakers- Good budget speakers.. bass is lacking though. EVGA Z10 Keyboard- Overall very happy with it, coming from the Logitech 110 its a nice improvement.
