EVGA posted a message popup for the past couple days ( gone now ) to the effect of "No staff have access to and cannot tell you your place in the queue."  Also posted:
"The EVGA U.S. Offices and Warehouse will be closed in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 26th through Sunday November 29th and reopening on Monday November 30th at 9AM PST."  Just double check you're signed up under "My notifies" for each P/N for each card you're interested in, and know that unless you want to become an F5 slave chained to your keyboard/phone, camp out at a Microcenter overnight, or pay some scalper 2x retail--you're gonna get your card soonest that way.  Errr maybe unless you got serious Piracy skills and wanna go after that container at sea full of 3080 boards!   I just today got rewarded for getting up early and fighting to get my notify in for the 3070 XC3 Ultra at 6am on launch day.  GL everyone else getting thru the queues soonest!  Happy Holidays and GL getting the hottest BF deals with limited stock everyone!

Want an easy way to save up to 10% on your next EVGA purchase? Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the EVGA associate code Y8SZAS1DU12NL92 at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to say "Thank You!" for using it!

8 hours isn't enough time. I missed my window because I checked my email 2 hours too late. Should be minimum 12 hour window, ideally it would be 24. Some of us work and sleep odd hours.

I agree it is an annoyingly tight window if you work off hours.  Most people sleep 6-10 hours, so they really should cover like 12 hours :(

I believe that this is important context for the group. Since they are getting a lot of the cards that you are all waiting for.
-Tom

Again, remember they have contractual obligations to send stock to retailers.  They can't just sell them all internally.

I managed so far to sleep like 6 hours per day so that I don't miss my chance and also do my daily duties for work / life, it reminded me of the army days xD, if you manage to sleep 6 hours only, you can do it.

Step Up is something different than what we were talking about.  For the Purchase Queue you only have 8 hours from the time they send you the Invite to Buy email.

Agathorn, did you email EVGA? They can fix the issue so you can order your card. I would reply to your invite to purchase email you received to express your purchase intent. If they don’t contact you by noon on Monday, I would call their customer service number.

Best of luck!

Sooo are these new card variants ever going to be given an auto notify button? I really want a 3090 w/waterblock. Ive been in que since 10/7 for the 3090 ftw3 and still haven’t got any emails either, and figured I mine as well go for the waterblocked since it’s $50 more.

Waterlogged cards — the hybrids and the hydros — had a brief (30 mins or so) window when the auto notify button was live — two weeks or so ago. EVGA has suggested that the first tranche will be sold in December. Around the same time, they should turn the auto-notify button back on (not sure if it will stay on...kind of doubt it...I think they are trying to avoid having unrealistically long queues that they will never have inventory for as the waterlogged cards will be in lower volumes).

I don’t know whether they will wait until the current queue is satisfied or turn the button back on earlier. Last time @EVGA_JacobF tweeted about it going live. So keep an eye out.

Happy Thanksgiving if you are in the US.

Well, glad they gotta bunch of cards out this week. We will definetly be entering the second day of the 3080 ftw ultra next week. Only 38 people ahead of me for that card, I'm thinking my email will be coming next week. Hapy thanksgiving to all!

Oh, I don't have a buy email.  The discussion started from someone else (whom I think you already replied to with the same suggestion).

Bear in mind that eventually you will be able to buy after market water blocks, so you don't NEED to get a water cooled card from EVGA if you don't want to fight that queue-ish system.  This is what I did on my 1080ti, I just got the air cooled card from EVGA and used that for maybe 6 months or so as is, then got a block from EKB and upgraded it to water cooled.  I'll do the same with my EVGA 3090s as well.  Start with air cooled then later slab an EKWB block on there to give it an upgrade.

Very purple but sweet :) What case is that? Looks a lot like my Phantek case. And out of curiosity where is your res? I'm fairly certain the card is going to be too long and hit my res :(

For some reason I just assumed such a rig was watercooled, but then I noticed the NZXT AIO so ignore my last bit lol

I don't have my box cluttered with water cooling by my giant fans are all blue LED to give the machine a cool look to it.

Maybe next time I disect the machine for some repairs I can post some rig porn. Most of the time it is parked beside my executive desk where it simply lives doing whatever task I need.

For me water was not a viable solution as the HAF 932 with monster 230mm fans did it another way.

Still the purple theme for the rig ^ seems to be not such a bad approach.

It seems as if my walmart 3090 order went through this time; FedEx lists an arrival date of Sunday.  I'll certainly drop out of the 3080 and 3090 queue positions after that card arrives.  My 3080 positions are 9/19 ~8:40am PDT so that will help folks who registered in late September... my 3090 positions were way later on.  I'm not sure yet about the 3070 queues.  I registered 10/29 launch day at ~6:21-6:23 AM PDT.  I am still considering a 3070 for my media/game server.  That machine runs Folding at home 24/7, donating CPU & GPU power to fight diseases.  So, I can rationalize keeping it current as something that I myself can do to help fight Covid and other diseases.  It has a 2070 Super in it though.  Will have to measure how much I am gaining.  Maybe I'll just wait on 3070 black?  We'll see.

Idle fans are not noticeable. My Toshiba helium hard disk is far more noticeable. The head movement is comparatively loud.

All of of my fans are controlled by the motherboard so there is dynamic control. Low and low. Rig does not make a lot of heat.

Uni fans are highly customizable and Lian Li did great job with this product (one cable for each block)
Under 1250 rpm fans are hard to hear.

My wife finally told me to just go ahead and order the new 'doo-dad', as she calls it, for my 73'rd birthday.  I did on 11/21.  Put in notifies for the 3971, 3973 and 3975.

At the rate the lists are moving...., I'll be dead and there will be a waiting list for the 50 or maybe even the 60 series of cards!

Where are they all going????  A couple of the cards haven't moved since the list was created!!!

I've had a couple of all the EVGA cards, of each series going all the way back to the 8800 GTX's.  I've had a pair of the 280s, 480s, 580s, 680s, 295 (remember those? Quad SlI with two cards), 780s, 980s, 1080's, 1080ti's and a number of EVGA motherboards!

I finally had to skip the 20 series because of cancer chemotherapy treatments, but now I try to buy the 30 series...., and I don't think I'm going to make it!

Gigabyte TRX40 Aorus Pro WiFi Amd sTRX4 ATX MB, AMD Ryzen 9 Threadripper 3960x, EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA HYBRID GAMING, 24G-P5-3988-KR, twin - 28" 3840 x 2160 Monitors, Samsung 980 Pro 2TB, M2 NVME SSD for OS, 3x2 TB  Samsung 980 Pro SSD's for storage, Samsung SH-203 SATA DVD Drive, Coolermaster 1000 Watt PSU, Win 11 Pro, Coolermaster HAF 932 Advanced case. Consider watching this listing.  Many folks here have grabbed these.  It is the FTW versions, yes, but it will switch to MSRP at some point almost every day when they get a drop:
