Before the spreadsheet went offline, it showed that the 3080 XC3 Ultra list had made it to about 11:58 am on 9/16.  You are about 12 hours away and more than 100 names away (and those are only the names that self-reported to the spreadsheet).

No. One person who didn’t follow the directions in the spreadsheet tried to add in a few rows and that corrupted hundreds of rows. Likely an unintentional error, but the end result is that the sheet is currently offline.

Hey guys, first time posting to the forums but I finally said enough is enough today with waiting and EVGA told me to come here. I requested auto-notify on the ftw3 ultra 3080 at 4:42PM EST. Does anyone know where that might put me? Thanks

So.. still looking like weeks just go get into the afternoon of 9/17.  Had one in my cart a newegg for about 20 seconds and it's gone.

The sheet had just gotten into the 8am hour on 9/17 when it was corrupted. Hopefully the owner will restore it.

Yesterday morning I got the EVGA email with the link to purchase the 3080 FTW3 Ultra. Everything went very smooth. I had signed up for Auto Notify just under an hour after the launch went live on 9/17.

I'm still saying wait until November, lol. The 3070 and eventually AMD cards will dilute demand. If it's true that production is ramping up, then XC3 and FTW3s will continue pouring in and scalpers will probably back off, because they won't be able to corner the market with other cards being easy alternatives.
 
Honestly, I didn't think the queue was going to be as bad as it was, because I assumed it was going to be like 5 lines instead of just one super long one with like a few 3090 and XC3 Oprah toss out surprises here and there.

If amd comes in and nvidia dosent have stock for customers then amd will temporarily have the market and be able to capitalize but if nvidia ramps up production to squash the scalpers and demand then amd will have to offer their product for a lower cost as per usual. Amd has a very small window to capture new clients and make a good profit and they cannot be even close to botching a gpu launch like Nvidia. People also don't understand import/export and that currently with trade and manufacturing it isn't just chip manufacturers having a hard time meeting demand.

Guys be more optimistic, production should increase, also, the bulk of the pre orders should be around the first hours, so if its moving slow is because there are thousands of preorder there, I'm sure eventually is going to start moving by the hours, and sooner than later, by the days.

I agree. Although we don't have the exact math available for study and graphing, as production increases, and we go in to less and less "dense" time frames, it should snow ball in our favor. Plus, like Cerulean was saying about 3070 and AMD.
