Since the list is botched all we can do is come back here and post when you get an email, what part number and what time you signed up, this will at least tell us what times an specific model is moving and such.

This thread could still be useful even without the spreadsheet.

I am at 10/5 for FTW3 ultra 3090, don't see it happening until 2021 anyways. I don't even need it for gaming :(

I think the most critical feature of the spreadsheet was seeing the latest date/time for where they're at on notificaitons. The 'position in queue' function is going to be heavily flawed. I'd love to just see single report per part number on latest date/time that has been notified.

I prefer it for my sanity's sake. Like I know I'm somewhat down the list but at least I have some reassurance that I won't be fighting either bots or a Microcenter line.

I haven't followed this whole thread but why is the list botched? I still see myself in there for 3090 FTW3 Ultra.

I’m sorry EVGA themselves should be giving daily updates about where they are in the line. Maybe every AM with a tweet because this is ridiculous.

Somebody intentionally or unintentionally made some edits contrary to the stated instructions that shifted times, names and queues such that about 800 entries are now incorrect (e.g., entry meant for 3080 FTW3 Ultra is appearing as an entry for a 3090 XC3 Gaming).

Enewt, seeing the thread on on wait list estimates, maybe we should move to the other google spreadsheet.  I know people would have to re enter info, but at least its on a form and not on the spreadsheet itself.  Should save some headaches, no?

Last I checked the form only allows one card and you can't re-enter...so it became not useful to me. Unless it changed.

So I'm not completely sure how the new system works but I pressed the notify button on 9/17. When should I expect to receive an email? Or is there something else I need to do?

So Jacob said more XC3 next week? That's cool. I'm an hour away from getting my video card, and it moved like an hour a week. Not 100% reliable, obviously, but seems like good indication.

Celeras
First definitive update regarding the XC3 Black model people have been asking about, figured I'd share:

Ouch. I am very unhappy with Nvidia, as I will no doubt miss the Watch Dogs promo, at this point, and that was a selling point of the purchase, for me...

My new computer is completely built except for the video card. I never imagined it would take this long.

I know this isn't EVGA's fault, but I'm just venting here. I only signed up for the XC3 Black on 9/17, and the few others I signed up for weren't until they announced this program. So, I'm very far down the list for those.

(This is my first time here, so I didn't use that spread sheet I see people referencing, just as a FYI)

Your time and the card selected actually makes a big difference.  It would help if you can provide it.

I haven't tried it, but I imagine if you change your name, it should allow multiple entries.  Like evgafan1, evgafan2, etc.

You can use the same name. It's the model name that's important. You'll show up on each corresponding model's sheet/tab, even if you use the same name multiple times on the "Editable" sheet.

I think you are referring to the old google spreadsheet we've been using.  I was suggesting moving to the new one that someone else created.  The data is entered on a form that I think would be much easier for people to self serve.

I am not restarting on a different spreadsheet.  I really appreciate the community in helping to build the spreadsheet and found it to be one of our only useful/available tools in our predicament...but it is a tool that is only as good as the self reporting of people who receive an email inviting them to buy a card.  We could repopulate a new spreadsheet but if the larger community (including those in reddit who are not part of this forum) doesn't follow to the new sheet, the usefulness degrades considerably.

If participants in this forum continue to update this thread when s/he receive an email invite to buy, then we can have a rougher -- but still helpful -- estimate of the how close/far our individual date/time stances are for particular cards.  Like always, to be helpful an update needs to include:
- 3080 or 3090;
- the model (e.g., FTW3 Ultra, XC3 Gaming, etc.); and
- the date and time of the auto-notify.

If an update lacks any of those three elements...it isn't productive.

May all of our waits be shorter than we expect; they are certainly already longer than we deserve.

Lol....ohh the assumptions...

Its not a new one....its an old one that has been running in parallel, and its discussed in this thread.

This is an example of some of the issues with the thread right here.....

Understood.  Totally get it.

That said, people seem to be better about updating this newer spreadsheet.  But you are right, it is a tool, nothing else.

Honestly, I was just trying to provide a way so that people to help themselves rather than rely on forum members to enter data.

There is a bit of a moratorium on adding to the spreadsheet for the time being.  Last two pages of the forum have the details.

9/17/2020 12:04:25 AM is the exact time. And the card I selected was the 3080 XC3 Ultra.

Before the spreadsheet went offline, it showed that the 3080 XC3 Ultra list had made it to about 11:58 am on 9/16.  You are about 12 hours away and more than 100 names away (and those are only the names that self-reported to the spreadsheet).
