just started folding for the very first time about 10 days ago. Hoping my computer will help with COVID 19 if possible.
Being stuck at home all day sucks.

Thanks! last I checked, I've contributed about 81 work units so far. Saw a lot of COVID 19 projects which makes me happy. I even had my wife send out emails to her students with my description and instructions on how to and also to join EVGA's folding team.

Did you exempt the working directory(s) for the Fah program from your antivirus?
Note: Under Windows, antivirus software can interfere with the Folding@home client files and cause errors. We suggest configuring antivirus software to exclude the FAH client directory and especially the Work directory from the antivirus scanning list. This can be done by going into the exclusion list panel that every antivirus should have. The work subdirectory contains semi-random binary data and can confuse overly aggressive heuristic virus scanning.

No, I didn't see your post edit when I responded. i didn't add the folder as an exemption for my av software, but i just did. I haven't had any issues with getting work units though.

Awesome EVGA has got some pretty high marks to hit this year...10mil and 30 mil for EVGA Bucks These guys will tell you all about it. At least now your WU's will be good For the first month or so I only had a cpu folding. Only made the first tier and just missed the second one by 5000 or so points. as I mentioned before  Welcome Aboard

Sort of new. Guess this list didn't exist when I started in 2010 then I stopped for quite a long time. Been back for a week and a half or so now, went ahead and just filled out the form to be added. So I guess I could consider myself new since it's been like 8 years or more.

I guess I can say that I am "new", not new to folding, but "new" to the team, currently have reservations about the whole EVEGA Bucks thing, but willing to give it a try, would love to get a "Folding signature" currently running one rig (trying to build a "folding farm" currently) so I can run multiple units and hopefully fight Covid 19, among other diseases out there that need to kindly go away...

You may need to add the stats box without hyperlink to your signature using the insert image button, then select the stats box in the signature preview window and add the hyperlink to the image using the toolbar button above.

Hi everyone, I've been folding for awhile now. I just filled out the form, and I didn't know the exact answers... I've only ever folded for two teams, a personal gaming group of mine and EVGA. EVGA is the most recent as my other team stopped some time ago. I can't remember when I started for EVGA, so my answers on the form may be inaccurate... I've read through this forum a bit and I saw there are tiers at 10M and 30M? Is there any official post from EVGA that shows this information? I've already submitted a request for 10M and I'm currently sitting at 23M and wondering when, what are the values needed to submit for points. I was fearing that once I submitted for the month, my month was over... Also, how do I setup my stats sig like I'm seeing here? Thanks everyone. Tim

That's how it works, once you hit 30M points it will pop up and allow you to request the 30M level bucks! Fold On!
