I do wonder, what other wattages will the other PSUs be at? I could guess around 1200w, 1000w and 850w, but I don't know if any information about the wattages for the other PSUs in this series can be released yet or now.

Couple other articles that list the line-up, so I just linked one.

I would say that the release date is: 8/17/12

Since that's when the winners have to claim their prize.

I'm guessing around $359-$399.

I take this back.  The Corsair AX1200i (newest) is at $349.  The EVGA 1500W will be $409-$429

That's probably real close Johnny. I had been figuring on $450 hoping it would be less than that.

Considering that a good PSU will last several upgrades. Not to mention a power supply that can take wattage that'll melt wiring in homes... 450 is still a good bargin.

Maybe, but power is only one part of the equation.  I will reserve my judgement until I see a JonnyGuru review:)

Yea I'm not going to jump out and buy one the day they are released by any stretch. If it has power quality like that of Seasonic, Corsair, etc. then it will definitely be my next PSU and probably before 2012 is over.

I have Seasonic X-1250 now and would love to stay with it as I also waited a long time for it to come out, but they are showing no signs of jumping on the sleeved cable bandwagon and that is honestly a huge selling point for me. I tried to do them myself and it was just an incredibly painful process that would take me months to complete if I were to do the full set of cables. I got 14 of the 16 wires done on one set of PCI-E cables and decided that I was just never going to finish it all and stopped. No point in doing any if you aren't doing all.

I also just LOVE the rough matte black finish of that Classified NEX 1500W with the red accents. It looks so awesome and is the power supply I've been looking for for my red and black build.

Bring on the NEX 1500 reviews!

CORSAIR AX1200 + 85$ cables are so close 400-450$
count 300-400W more, better cables and 3 years more warranty.

Some people pay over 500$ for PSU to look good. 300-350 PSU, 50-100 sleeve and other hands someone to do that to look good.
People seeking 100$ and more for full PSU sleeve. For big over 1000W maybe more.
For AX1200 MDPC-X sleeve is over 100$ and if won't to be perfect than only people who finished times and know how to work.
Sometimes people start and make mess yourself.
And hands yes, finished some HX or Enermax and you can't tuch womens 6 months. Fingers like lumberjacks.

I couldn't agree more about the sleeved cables.  Big selling point for me now as well.  These high end PSU's all should really be sleeved from here on out imho.  That's the only thing I don't like about my Seasonic (XFX 1000) and HCP1200.
