Do you own stock in these companies? Lol. The key is the Novec is completely passive. It would condense on it's own given enough space and distance to rise. They offer ranges from about 30c up to 60c for boil point. You just pull all the heatsink off (even the IHS) and fill your container full of Novec and you're off to the races. Your system will run as cool as the boiling point for the Novec solution. To use less Novec just put in a metal water loop and radiator to cool the steam off quicker.

because of this video and his suggestion to remove the top cover from your case i have reduced temps by 4C! i can not believe that removing that increased cooling that much.

welp, my Monster Rig just "killed"-A-Watt meter. lol, puns aside my Kill-A-Watt meter just bit the dust earlier today. i do not have the tools on hand to take it apart to see if the fuse in it blew or what exactly happened but its doesn't work nor does it pass power threw it. so i do not think something like this was designed to run 12 Amp loads 24/7 and from now on i'll only use these things for testing purposes.

FAH only uses about 80% gpu usage so it does use the full power of the card.

Just curious, can I directly run the folding client on a mining rig that has 6 x vega56s connected via risers or do I need 1 x vega56 to be in the PCI-E slot and the remaining 5 cards on riser?

It should not be an issue, but the slot only has a 1x connection so it may bog down the card a bit displaying for mining or folding.

It should work - some of my mining rigs ran Folding with no GPU on the motherboard, but even under LINUX you'll take a small performance hit - and a MUCH larger one under windows. To be fair, the mining rigs in question for me were all Nvidia based, but it shouldn't work differently with AMD cards instead (other than AMD being less efficient at folding on otherwise "comparable" cards).
Now that vorsholk has stopped his abuse, I'm returning to folding. I no longer MOO due to abuses by certain "whales" in the Gridcoin community - so I now work the Distributed.net project directly again.
