Now this is for anyone that cars about trucks like I do. This new Ford F-150 is called the Atlas. Of course this is a concept but I think this truck is kick ass! I mean its so sexy! OMG I WANT IT! You got to say, no other truck looks so luxurious than this one. Ford should definitely go through with this one. If Ford does go through with this I think I will reconsider my dream truck to be this truck instead of the Ford Raptor.

Are you sure that it is really a new customer computer case with lighting? Is Ford skipping 2014? This is the 2nd New 2015 Ford post this week. A little boxy for me.

Actually bed lighting would be a fantastic idea for those times when you're trying to load crap into the back at night. Although blue is pretty tacky.
 
Most car lighting is super tacky, but tasteful and practical use of white ambient light is nice.

A truck is meant to work. Not cruise in, or be overly comfortable. They carry, pull, haul, push and just plain work. Wouldn't car if it had a wooden bench seat as long as it works and does all those things well.

I like some of the design features and I can see some making it to the production vehicle. I wish a big I-4 turbo diesel would be an option for the F-150.

Man some of you are just haters. How can you not love a thing like that? Ford started designing the Atlas about A year and half ago behind closed doors, but the Atlas was not introduced until January 2013 at the Detroit Auto Show. I just recently was introduced and amazed by it so ya. Also even thou the concept just came out, its Fords you can say  "beginning road map design" for 2015 model trucks. Man some of the features on this thing are so awesome like the inbuilt ramps. There were so many times a ramp would been so covenant when I was helping my brother load stuff in his F-150 super-cab. This is why I like trucks more than cars because you can do so much more with a truck than a car. But honestly thou with this truck I would be to scared to get this truck doing some heavy duty dirty work. Its too nice to get down a dirty.

I wouldn't personally ever own a Ford, never been one to like trucks as daily drivers either... so my opinion probably wouldn't be surprising.
 
I'm just a hater.

It's a great looking truck, but I would never get one with the bed and cab lighting.

You can change the color if you hate blue. It's a setting for the interior accent lighting. What sucks about the Ford F150 in recent year models are they went from a truck that had great turning radius to one that can't turn around in the area of a football field. Family went from a 2007 Lariat F150 to a 2010 Platinum F150. The feel of the newer F150 drives much more dysfunctional than the older body style. The newer body looks sharp, but drives like crap.

 
My OP was based on the Atlas concept. BUT it turns out most of the body of the new 2015 truck is from the Atlas concept.  Hey since they are cutting trim levels for the F-150 from 12 or was it 9, to only just 5 trim levels now and with 4 engine choices. Now would that mean that they will stop producing my all time favorite truck the Ford SVT Raptor? I would be pissed if they stop making it because of course obliviously I want it very much and despite all that its because its a game changer for the truck industry as well as profit margins for Ford since the F-150 is the most selling truck.
 
 
 

F-150 sales numbers have to be compared to Silverado AND Sierra numbers..it's easy to say the F-150 is the best selling truck year after year when GM splits their models like that. Sierra and Silverado are the same truck.
 
I do like Ford trucks for what it's worth, but some of those style choices in this concept make it look cheap...
