Thanks alot for the info! I like to be thorough in my research lol.
Im definently thinking about buying the champion when its on sale for 130. I will be waiting for it to go on sale but in the meantime I think that im going to keep checking up on the Recon 3D. Im also kind of skeptical to pull the trigger on it because knowing my luck The Titanium HD that just got made is going to get an optical input and support for my 5.1 which it does not have. Anyway no word at CES about anything new so let see. Thanks again!

The Titanium HD is classed under audiophile equipment while the X-Fi cards are classed under gaming equipment on Creative's site. This might explain why it doesn't have optical (TOSLINK) in/out.

if it was audiophile equipment, it should have *just* a coaxial S/PDIF or an optical toslink so we can bypass it for a better DAC AMP combo

okay, okay, just kidding on that

eVGA FTW!

The lowest price I could find is $165 on Mwave. Keep looking for sales. Youll find it.
