I installed the card, then installed the drivers. Have tried both versions with same results.
The driver is installing because I can see it listed under the speaker tab in taskbar, and I`m getting audio just no GUI to adjust anything or EQ etc.
The software portion isn`t starting.... you will see the purple icon load in the taskbar then just go away.
I can go to start menu and under EVGA click the NU Audio Pro and it just shows a blue spinner and then goes away not starting. Ive tried everything I can think of to no avail.

For troubleshooting purposes, what happens if you install the driver without selecting the Nahimic EQ to install?

I have not tried just installing the driver, but I will tonight and report back what happens.

Same result no matter if I install only the driver or both - tried both ways and software just wont start.... still get blue spinner and goes away.
I can attempt to highlight the purple icon in the task bar and it just vanishes soon as the mouse cursor is over it.

The computer is literally 3 weeks old... I built it Christmas day and have no issues with anything other then the annoying Nu Audio Pro card that just wont load the software. Bummed.

You should install the original 1.0.0.0 driver, and then install the new 1.0.0.1 driver on top. This should fix the issues. The control panel should work, and the card should then initialize. There is a new firmware included with the new driver, which is firmware version 1.4, and it should ask you to update once you install the second drive on top of the first one.

Here is the first driver at the link. I notice that EVGA has removed it now from the site, and only has the current driver listed, so I have uploaded it to We Transfer. Make sure you have removed all of the folders for the sound card first. Some are hidden in the USERS/APPDATA/LOCAL and USERS/APPDATA/ROAMING folder locations. You will also find a folder in Program Files and Program Files (X86). After doing this, reboot, and then install this driver first, and then the new driver after on top. This should fix the issues.

I still have the original driver package 1.0.0.0 and believe me I have tried what you said numerous times to no avail.(Thank you for posting the driver even though I had it already)
I`m just bummed to have spent this much money on a audio card that I was excited to get only to be let down.
RMA has already been started, just hope the next one actually works as intended and I did not throw 200$ down the drain.

I own the Nu Audio Pro 7.1 as well. I have quite a bit of experience with it at this point. I ended up testing a couple things here to see what happens. I uninstalled the new 1.0.0.1 driver, and also the previous 1.0.0.0 driver. After doing this, and cleaning out all of the folders, I then installed just the new 1.0.0.1 driver. My card acted the same as yours. I got the same init error, and the control panel refusing to open. I then went in and uninstalled 1.0.0.1, and deleted all folders. After rebooting, I then installed 1.0.0.0. The card and control panel worked again as usual. I then installed the new 1.0.0.1 driver on top. The firmware updated from 1.0 to 1.4, and then I rebooted. Everything worked once again, including the control panel.

I don't think you have a hardware issue here at all. It appears to be just a driver problem of some kind. Did you have a previous sound card, or were you using onboard ? If onboard, did you disable your onboard audio and uninstall the drivers for it before installing the sound card ? If you had a previous sound card, did you completely uninstall its drivers and remove all folders before installing your Nu Audio Pro card ?

When you uninstall the Nu Audio Pro drivers, make sure you get every folder that gets left behind. It leaves behind 4 or 5 different folders. If you do this correctly, the sound card should be working, and the control panel will open.

Just a small off-topic note - The first NU Audio Pro driver was v1.0.0.0, and the latest was originally posted as v1.0.1.0, which we shortened to v1.0.1 after we posted it.  Both drivers are still available from the download page, you just need to uncheck the box for "Show latest download".

@jiimii2, sorry to ask, but do you have the SATA power connected directly from the power supply?  You mentioned that you had audio, so I'm assuming "yes", but I still want to check.

Next, do you have all motherboard drivers installed, and the BIOS version up-to-date?  Can you try disabling C-States in your BIOS to see if it helps?

Can you take a screenshot of Windows Device Manager with the "Sound, video and game controllers" and "Universal Serial Bus controllers" sections open?  If you have a USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller device, can you take a screenshot of the Driver tab?

I'm encountering the same issue with my non-pro version except that the control panel launches and I get audio.
