What is going on with the European queue?

I am about halfway down the queue in Europe for the 3080 FTW3 Ulta, only.  (European queue).

But looking now at the spreadsheet mega-thread queue in Europe -- even the person labelled no.1 (in the entire queue) hasn't received their notification.  Nor has anybody else who signed up to the notify on launch day.

Even more concerning, only 34 people from Europe (across the entire 30 series lineup) have received their notification.  In contrast, about 13,000 Americans have received notifications.

34 people from 27 European Countries vs 13,000 from 1 country (the U.S.)

What is going on?  I could understand if one Country was given preference for 24hrs or maybe even a week after the launch date due to how media used to sometimes traditionally launch in the U.S. first.  Or even because the manufacturer's Head Office is located in a specific country (and the company was historically founded there).  But even if such notions were fair that time would still have long passed.  The 30 series launched 9 months ago.

I myself am from the U.K.  What do other Europeans think?  Should Europe be allocated a bigger share of notification stock?

EVGA Europe is a dying joke.  It has been collapsing for a long time.

There's no public facing data except for what is self reported, unless I've missed a huge development in the queue policy. The Google docs/sheets keeping track of notifications is based entirely on user reports which is only driven by user interest. If 10K North Americans add their notification details to a list because of a popular reddit post or whatever, that doesn't mean an equivalent amount of Europeans did the same thing. If there is less attention in the Euro circles then users may not be updating their notification status even after getting notified.

Though I'm sure there is a priority for the NA trade channels, we have no idea what the real numbers are. There could be 10K notifications that were sent to EU users but if they weren't already in a big list (or if no one reported the successful notification), it would seem like 0 notifications were handled. If the latest notification requests showing success were logged with dates in December (for 3090/3080 models), then that's up to parity with the lists I've seen for the States.

If there's an official list with automatic updates, I'd love to see the actual amount of reserved spots ahead of my March notification requests and the additional ones I submitted in April after I realized waiting on a singular SKU just lessens my chance of getting a 30 series GPU.

The EU Evga seems to be dying, I feel like EVGA America is giving them more money tbh.

Didn't the EU queue open up many, many months after the US queue to boot?

I'm not in the loop so I can't be sure, but I thought the queues opened at the same time regardless of location. Are you thinking of 3060 & 3060 Ti which were launched much later and thus had starting dates months after the other cards?

From what I can see in a few last weeks, it is most likely unfair situation with obvious advantage to US que.
The reasons for this could be many, from simple advantage in number of ques applications in US, better logistics in US or something third, I dont know.
Maybe people in EVGA EU are not paid enough, maybe a lot of cards had to go to retail channels, who knows?

    My recollection:
EU opened after NA, as there wasn't a queue system set up for EU, but you could hit Notify me at the same time, and those times were later put into the queue, so they entered the queue before the queue existed.
And from memory, the queues for EU opened in... October? November?

    Mine haven't.

    Try:
    1) Making sure you were at eu.evga.com
    2) Your registrations aren't on evga.com
    3) Checking if you logged in on the correct email

If they did truly disappear, contact EVGA support.

Wow I had no idea it was that huge of a difference. I imagine it’s because they sell out so quickly in the US right now. Makes me wonder if their supply only goes to EU when they have leftovers to sell. I’m in the US and I signed up for the queue on 11/30. I finally received the email to buy last week. It takes forever, even for us “locals” here in the US. What doesn’t help is that even most scalpers on eBay won’t ship internationally. It makes it even harder to get ahold of one across the pond.

Other manufacturers do sell direct, Asus have their Germany shop but again next to impossible to get anything when stock drops.

Compared to the American site, there is a huge neglect of the European queue by EVGA, hopefully the start to allocate GPUs more evenly.

I wonder about this as well. I tried to join the 3080 / 3090 queue in december last year too, but I guess since I don't have a queue spot anywhere listed on my account I'm actually not?

There is still no way to check your position in the queue or even how large the queues are for any given SKU. That's why the public spreadsheets were created. It's not perfect, as only a small amount of users submit their notification timestamps, and some don't update their status if they get notified. However, it's the only way we have to get ANY idea of our situation. So much for "Intelligent Innovation."

When this is true, then we will never get a 3080Ti. Maybe when the 5080 comes out! If so there are other brands i will buy from in future.

The thing is, I want EVGA because of their stance on water cooling, warrantee and usually above par designs. And in this case, adherence to MRSP-ish prices. There's plenty of 3080Ti cards to be hand in Europe if you don't mind the retailers €2699 price tag...

That's a typical treatment of European customers by EVGA. Looks like absolutely nothing have changed within EVGA HQ in all past years, it even got worse especially now. I don't understand why they even bother selling anything on our European market. Luckly this is the only downside of living in Europe compared to NA.

If there would've been more alternative nvidia partners that would sell directly to customers close to MSRP, no one would even consider EVGA, knowing how they don't give a d*mn about allocating fair amount of parts to Europe. As long as I remember, EVGA HQ has always treated Europeans as some third world country.

It's sad to say it like that, but that's a reality and countless forum posts reflect it. It's very unfortunate to read them and makes me very sad. And I've been a loyal customer for years.

However, I hope that very soon whole crypto crashes to oblivion and demand will be met. Soon as prices drop, and I can get a 3080Ti for a reasonable price, I won't even wait for EVGA to wake up. I will gladly pay my money to any other company that cares about me as customer and wants to earn my money.

To be honest, its reasonable as EVGA will make much much more money in America than Europe, especially during a stock shortage, it costs less for them to do business in America and there is more people wanting to get a graphics card; thus there is more market for them to make money on. If you were to own a business, would you try make much more money or loose money but have to keep one region bit less happy then make up later down the line?

Uh, what? Where did I mention that? Or do you think forum users comparing notes and guessing that it's going to take a long time is an official method of getting your queue position? If that's the case, there's a megathread that's more relevant.
