OMG peeps, this is crazy stuff. It just happened not too long ago. It looks incredible. They don't know if it is a UFO or scientists even think it may be a BLACK HOLE or some phenomena that we have yet to encounter! Here is the story: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,579868,00.html Here is a bunch of YouTube footage just uploaded from MANY sources: http://www.youtube.com/re...;search_type=&aq=f It lasted for 2 minutes. It occurred around 8 hours ago I believe.

I hope this is truly something revolutionary since I'm bored with this world. Hope it's aliens or something.

not sure if you all notice but if you look hard enough you can see a trail leading down and to the right of the spiral its a VERY light off the normal sky blue making it hard to pick out i think it was just some smartbutt showing off his great projection techniques

It's a laser light projection system, or UFO that has had an anti matter containment system failure. A small leak in the anti-matter containment cylinder, could cause such a spiral appearance.

Dude, it would be sooo awesome if it was like some black hole or... Like there was actually a "StarGate" program and right now we're getting attacked by the Goa'uld in a remote locationg in antartica or like the swirls were a fleet of Motherships currently communicating with the Air Force for the surrender of our planet to enslave all humans and use our tesla cards to increase their knowledge of the universe. ...It could happen.

It's obviously coming from the ground. Probably a laser. I shined the laser in my pistol over a wheat field last weekend and it went 400 yards to the tops of the tree line at that time of day. Pretty remarkable for a very small laser. Look at this pic, it comes from the ground. I've seen something similar in a light show in Houston. However, it was projected on a building. I bet the atmosphere was particularly dense during this exhibit.

Brad_Hawthorne Are people really this dumb? I fail to see how this is news... I think you need to look at yourself. We are in the General Discussion area. I suggest you take your attitude elsewhere. It isn't welcome on my thread ya hear? At first Russia denied it. How on earth can a missile stay at a static altitude and portray such an unusual spiral that can seen from a hundred mile radius? It doesn't make any sense.

I live in Norway, but was not able to see this my self because i live all the way down south. Another thing, how stupid would't it be to fire a test rocket over our heads right before Obama visit our country? BBC News had a pretty good video, but i only get a 404 there now.

Well, um, from Russian side, I can say that, there were officially planned some missile testings sometime around that event in the sky in that region, but that lights in sky is not oficially confirmed by our defense ministry to be the linked to the missile launch. In another words they say nothing about it. (sorry my english - busy day) So, whether it''s the missile launch or the aliens. ) Anyway, aliens would be cool -)
