I changed plans multiple times throughout the build and I realize it's not much, but I really wanted a new build and wanted to have it water cooled, since I've only ever had AIO for my CPU, never an actual custom loop with water blocks and stuff.
Case: Corsair 7000D
Motherboard: MSI MAG Z690 Tomahawk
GPU: eVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra Gaming w/ ekwb Quantum Vector2 Water block (Active backplate!)
CPU: i9-12900KS
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 128GB 3200MHz
Storage: 3X Samsung 980 Pro w/ Heatsink 2TB (6TB total)
PSU: Be Quiet! Power Pro 12 1500W
I originally planned to do my build with a Corsair XD7 Pump/Reservoir Combo but wanted more fans instead of taking up the space with this, so I ditched it and swapped out for the XD5 instead.
I also planned on using hard tubing, I failed 2 attempts at bending the tube properly, 3rd times the charm, looked really good, then I went to bend the other side and it came out super good, I was proud of myself, until I realized I bent it the wrong way and at that moment I realized I was going with soft tubing. LOL.
This is what I started with prior to making changes, I was still missing stuff like more fans, cables, etc.
Samsung 980 Pro's installed!
i9-12900KS Installed!
RAM Installed!
CPU Waterblock installed!
Motherboard mounted inside the case, 140MM Fan on exhaust in the rear of the case, Corsair 360MM Radiator on top with 3 QL120's and 3 Noctua NF-P12's installed on top with a push/pull configuration. 360MM Radiator with 3 QL120's installed inside the case as well, First tube placed!
Leak tested for 30 hours!! Mostly because I was too lazy and lacked the will to continue the build, But I guess 30 hours leak test is good?
OMG, It's alive!!! But still, only the radiator fans (most important ones) are working as of this pic while I setup everything, Because I did not realize how many fans I would put in total and needed another PWM fan hub and extensions!
Installed a Coolermaster GPU Support Bracket to prevent sagging!
Build is finally complete!
